I am currently ordained as a Buddhist monk and planned to stay in the robes for a few years. For monks there is a 1 year visa, an Ed visa (religious studies), which I will have to cancell when I disrobe.

Can I then just ask for a 1 month tourist visa or is there any rule against this?

Maybe "romantic" is the key word. Bit of candlelight food, some theatre (I don't know whether there is some in your area though), maybe fancy hotel

Also a beauty farm or pampering in one way or another could be appreciated

Next year I will live in Thailand, but work in Holland for 3 months a year.

I like to invoice the company I work for on a dayrate basis from a Thai company.
