I m on non- imm ed-visa extension. My mother is here on tourist visa( from india). Is there any way I can get her 60- days tourist visa extended for another 30 dats( normally indians get only 7 days extension) or any way to convert her tourist visa to non-imm o visa? Kindly help.. Thank you!

Ok.. I am doing phd now and got offer to do post doc in another University. That University informed that I will have to change to Non imm B visa without leaving country, which left me confused.

You could change reason for your extension of stay from attending a school to one for working or teaching but the problem is getting a work permit application accepted to get a work permit application approval letter needed to apply for the extension.

If the University is ready to give the letter, is it difficult to get?

My collegues here as post docs have Ed visa. That is why I get confused whether it is Ed visa or researcher visa

Both extensions of stay (visas are not extended) can be done on the same day. It just means getting copies of yours to attach to his application.

It is 45 days early at some offices and 30 days at others. How early you can apply will depend upon your school having the supporting documents for your extension ready.

Can I extend my ED-VISA and my husband's Non-Imm O visa on the same day? or should I get the extension first and then extend his visa?

I am on ED visa and my spouse is on Non Imm O visa. He will complete 90 days soon and will have to extend the visa. We have marriage certificate attested in our home country ( India). Do i need to get any other document from the Embassy here for the visa extension?
