  1. One of the very few places in the world where this type of violation is punishable by arrest. Absurd.
  2. In my opinion the children can easily win by declaring that the woman was a woman paid for her "favors" therefore no romantic relationship but only business 😁
  3. There should be reciprocity in Thai laws. That woman knows that in Thailand property for foreigners is severely limited, yet she wants to take advantage of English law. If I were in court I would tell her that since in Thailand a foreigner cannot own houses or land the same goes for her, and that her request should be rejected. In fact, try to imagine the opposite: a foreign man who is the widow of a wealthy Thai woman, who tries to obtain the inheritance. What are the chances?
  4. Imagine if a Thai had done it... What would have been the consequences for the Thai? Your opinion?
  5. A step forward towards civilization... Tony
  6. If they had all that money from scams, then why didn't they pay for an Elite visa? There is no logic to this story... Tony
  7. I agree. That is a good question! Tony
  8. The video is useful if we are right, it is natural, we must not be guilty. But this depends on us... Tony
  9. To avoid problems I always keep suggesting: you need to install a dash cam on board! Tony
  10. Very very difficult if you can't speak thai, and they want only young people with a degree. But they don't understand that their population is also aging. Tony
  11. ".. presented Thailand as an underdeveloped nation". And what would Thailand be instead, a first world nation? Come on Thailand, Don't be arrogant, you'll only make a bad impression.
  12. Yes, but on the reviews always better use a nickname, never the real name! Tony
  13. Would the opposite be possible? I mean if a rich Thai without children left an inheritance to a foreigner, perhaps a lover of him\her, is it possible? I have doubts... What do you think? Tony
  14. He wasn't very smart. He was supposed to post the videos when he got home. So the Thai censors couldn't help but get angry in front of the mirror. Thai censorship increasingly strict... Tony
  15. Why do many foreigners who stay in Thailand end up losing their minds lately? Tony
  16. The question is: what will happen to all the assets owned by the foreigner who will be expelled? Because he won't have time to sell everything if he is expelled. Will the Thai government take them? If something like this happens, foreigners will have to be very careful in the future, all it takes is that there are false accusations or a case invented with someone's complicity and they will expel us and the assets remain in Thailand at their disposal. Think about it, it's a dangerous precedent. Tony
  17. From the linked article: "Maybe it’s time we stop letting in the English-teaching..." Yes because they are so good in English that they don't need foreigners teachers.. 🤣 Dear Wanchai Vatanakool (the author of the article) you cannot compare Thailand with Korea, don't be so arrrogant, you are totally on a different planet... You want a different kind of expat\tourist? Before improve your hospitality sector and your country and after you can talk.. Tony
  18. A good advise is NOT to drive a motorbike in Thailand. Too dangerous. Tony
  19. And now that those foreigners are in jail, the Thai mafia will be able to thrive....
  20. I totally agree, I don't see any serious crime in this case. In Thailand they give jail time for offenses that in the West deserve only a fine... They are dangerously resembling Saudi Arabia... Tony
  21. I've heard that if the Thai wife die, It's a big problem with the Marriage Visa for a foreigner, because the marriage Visa expires consequentially. How was your experience? Thanks
