I plan to leave immediately, maybe within the two weeks granted?
Then come back as a tourist and either look for another job, or other visas. I am married to a Thai although not using the marriage visa option yet. I'd rather just get another job.
What other implications would I have? This could be important.

Just a normal worker, not a director.
But the nature of my job has me having to support one of the two directors. Unfortunately, the powerless one who is actually managing the company.
The other director feels that the work I do might hinder him from doing grey area stuff. Unfortunately, if I support him, they could always come back and try to blame me for that grey area stuff.

Hey there, I would like to know what documents are required to quit a boi job? Is the receipt or letter from the system enough to cancel my work permit and visa? Or do I need a letter of resignation?
I want to make sure that I'm not asked to sign any more than absolutely necessary to quit the job. A few shady things happening with this company lately.

Does the employer or employee pay for the work permit?
They claim that they usually front the money then deduct out of paycheck.
In my case, I guess because I'm a higher paid worker, they are asking me to just pay outright for the permit + multiple entry visa, total about 11,000 THB.
Seems sketchy or normal?

The immigration officers won't care if you take a small break in-between your visits. You're just as much of a "back to back" visa runner in their eyes as people who only stay out for a couple of days.
Do my chances improve if I visit two instead of one country in the "break"?

Hi there, I see many people having issues with "back to back" visa runs and I wanted to know how long people typically stay out of the country in between visas?
I typically stay away for a month (at least 14 days, usually closer to 30, depending on where I went and how fun it was) away on average before going back for one or two months. Does that make me more of a frequent visitor? I mean I do spend a fair bit of time inside Thailand, but never consecutively.
I assume other visa runners do 3 months, take a 2 day break in Laos, then head back for another 3 months. I would consider this as a consecutive stay, something I would avoid doing.
Would they give me trouble at the airports?

^ it can be at airports
i've had hassle when been out of country for 10 months and they seen previous setv stickers in my passport
I live and work from singapore and any time here is purely leisure but recent gastapo training at swampy and DM means anyone with fair bit of history (more so if passport shows most of it, they don't see it on computers easily unless system flags you) could get ballache if you get wrong immigration officer and take a dislike to each other .
I always been able talk matters through but some of the staff are total dragons and making up rules and give you false information so you got be up to speed (know what forms/stamps say if don't read thai via research and prepared politely stand your ground) .
I see. Thanks for the reply.
But I am really curious. How long does a typical "back to back" visa runner spend outside of Thailand between visas? Does the situation improve if I visited two countries in the month (or so) I spend outside before coming back to Thailand?

When you guys say "back to back" and "visa run", how long do you exit the country before you reenter? I typically exit for a month before re-entering for and average of 2 months. Is that an issue?
