What do you do with the antigen test once it's negative,?how to you show proof at the airport.

I went to the hospital in Yasothon they did the Antigen test and gave me a print out of test result and a form that says I am free from Covid etc…  cost 750

you will probably find a clinic nearby that does the same.

  2. Hi, I am trying to book appointment to request a freedom to marry certificate and passport certification in April after I finish Quarantine, I can not see any dates available in April. will they become available at later date? I am worried about not being able to get this in time as I have only one week until wedding after Quarantine, do you know if I can obtain this in the UK?

If anyone can help would be most appreciated.

There's no restriction on Thai nationals leaving Thailand or arriving in the UK, though if the restrictions on Thailands borders are still in place after her holiday, she would have to jump through hoops to return and quarantine on arrival.

When your fiancée applies for her visa, she will need to satify the decision maker that her trip is genuine, affordable and that, on the balance of probabilities, she will return home at the conclusion of her trip, always difficult when an applicant is proposing a trip for the length of time you mention.

Thank you for your reply, I am hoping she will get the visa, she has 400,000 THB in savings, I am sponsoring her for the trip, I have ample funds in savings also, we have a daughter 3 years old she has a UK passport but I am not sure if this helps or not. We were due to be married in Thailand next month but that has been postponed until next year I have mentioned this on application, again I am not sure if this will help. But I can only try.

  4. Hi, I am currently applying for a visit visa for my Thai fiancée, I want her to come and stay with me for 4-6 months as I have not been able to return to Thailand since the start of the pandemic.

I just wanted to know if Thai citizens are being allowed to exit Thailand on visit visas at the moment due to border closures?
If anyone knows about this for sure, it would be most appreciated if you could let me know.

I have tried looking in google but can’t find the answer!

    Regards

Confirming what Mihael Hare said, Ive parked for 5 or 6 days there in recent months. No limits. 150 baht per complete day. Free parking also available 5 minutes walk from the terminal, though you might have to drive around a bit as it seems to get full, particularly at weekends. I tend use the pay park now because of that risk.

Thank you for confirming, I will use the airport pay parking.

As far as I know you can park there for as long as you like. That is what the lady at the ticket booth told me upon entering to park. Two weeks ago I parked my car in the fee-paying car park for three days. Back in May I parked for four days.

    Thank you.

  7. Hi,

Does anyone know if there is parking available at Ubon airport for 4 days? I have used parking for picking someone up but not sure if can park there long term.

I have seen several topics on subject but they seem to say both yes and no, also they are a few years old, it would be good to know before heading there and finding no where to park!

If you're getting decent pressure at some taps then the pump is working.

Check the kitchen tap, it will have a filter thingy in the end, unscrew it and clean (try it with the filter out), also check the wall outlet for debris. There could well be bits in the pipe so it's worth removing the valve from the wall under the sink and checking in there (pump off of course or you'll get wet).

Yes filter on tap was full of debris, now have good pressure in kitchen.

pump still cycling about 8 seconds now, I will try to get someone to change pipe from tank to pump where it has been reduced, hopefully this will help solve problem.

    thank you.

Yeah, there shouldn't have been any water coming from the air valve.

Yesterday I went everywhere I could think of locally but was unable to find this part.

I looked at it again this morning, but not finding any water coming from air valve now?? I am just thinking if it was not installed correctly could this of caused the water to be coming out of valve?

Still no pressure in kitchen though, I am thinking maybe an air lock in pipe? This tap was turned on when I turned off pump!

Any ideas how to fix it?

if I don’t resolve it today I am thinking buying a decent pump and trying to find someone competent to install!!

I didn’t really want to buy another pump as this one is new and the builders should be responsible but I can’t seem to contact them. They have had their money so I doubt they will be back!

Did Global House offer an installation service for the Water Pump and Water Tank you paid for?  HomePro offers installation services for water pumps and Water tanks.

Unfortunately I was in the UK when this was installed, so did not get to oversee it,  it was done by builders that made house.

The pressure tank is the grey cylinder on top of the pump. Is the brass bit on top a tyre type valve? Does the pressure tank have a label with a working pressure?

But your problem may be the outlet flow being restricted by that run of 1/2" pipe.

    Hi Crossy,

    thank you for advice,

i am back trying to resolve this problem again, yesterday I checked pressure on tyre type valve when I depressed it water came out before any air, I unscrewed the cylinder held valve in and drained all water from it, screwed cylinder back in added pressure to 1.0 bar as on label. It is now better but still surges with cycle time of about 5 seconds rather than constantly banging/ surging. However now the water in kitchen which is furthest outlet from pump is just very low pressure not much more than a trickle. Water in both bathrooms seems ok but still surging.

    Any help much appreciated.

  12. Hi all, I am back in Thailand now, looking at this pump again, I can confirm it does have tyre valve on side of pressure tank, I will try to check pressure today and maybe get the guy from bike shop in village to add air if required.

The same builder installed another pump for local person in village told them the same thing. ‘This is how they run’

I haven’t been able to get hold of him as he seems to be avoiding me and my wife as we need a few things looked at in house! Not really a good experience with my first dealings with Thai builders!

What's the on-off cycle time of the pump? Does it stay on if you open all the taps?

Try unscrewing the pressure tank (power off and open a tap) and shake out any water that's inside. Does the tank have a tyre-type valve on the end (do NOT remove any plastic plugs)?

It's a new build so the pressure tank shouldn't be water-logged but one never knows.

Hi Crossy, I have tried opening all taps at same time, it seems to run constantly but if I shut one off then it starts surging again. The lid of the main water tank is loose I am not sure if it should be tightened all the way or not. I am not sure what part I should unscrew to shake water out.

i have uploaded a couple more pictures.

    thanks for advice.

Yeah your right with-hold some payment if possible.

Where do the water pipes run is it them that make the noise. ?

Have you run the water fully from all parts of the house the noise could be trapped air. ?

Maybe the pump is giving too much pressure can it be adjusted. ?

It is actual pump making noise, the flexible pipes next to toilet and shower shake when any outlet is opened.

  15. I have opened both of the showers and taps etc...  but same issue, I cannot find a manual for pump anywhere so far. But I will look again at pump.

the pipe comes from tank to pump then house, it is a short distance to all taps the kitchen being furthest about 15 feet or so.

  16. Hi, I have just completed new build house in Phanom Phrai district, the local builders installed a water tank and pump but the water surges and pump makes loud thumping noise when water is opened, they say this is just the way it is and are not doing anything further.

can anyone help with possible solution as I am sure it is not correct.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

I have included pictures of pump cover and tank.
