  1. I have a room available for rent at hillside 4. It´s a beatifull apartment. Please post or email me at //e-mail address removed as per forum rules// for further information or pictures etc :o

  2. I went to the tourist office at thapae gate, it´s very close to the corner. Close to the pharmacies and the italian resturant. The pretty gal there hooked me up with a camp, they picked me up every day and it was a great camp. Loads of international pro´s there, and they had tried many camps and told me this one was the best. It was expensive, but I paid my days.. if you make a deal for months etc, you´d get it cheaper, and you can train twice a day with them if you want. My advice is go to the gal at thapae gate and she´ll hook you up.

  3. My fave massage in Chiang Mai was Huay Kaew Massage, it´s on that road, right across the street from Hillside 4, yellow sign. I think it´s 300 baht for a 2 hour massage, and it has no funny sex business going on.

When I had back pain I told them about it and I wanted extra massage there, and had them put some of that eucaliptus cream they use for foot massage on it, and when I was really bad I´d bring some anti inflammatory cream from the pharmacy for them to use. Great massage and very friendly place. It´s open from around 11am and close around 11-12pm.

  4. I´m currently staying at Hillside, 9th floor. I leave at the end of the month so the room is free for rent after that. Very nice room, with a great view over Doi Suthep and very nice to sit at the balcony in the evening when the sun goes down. For more you can probably contact the owner at [email protected] , for those that want to ask me anything about my stay at chiang mai or hillside you can contact me at [email protected]

  5. I´ve been to 3 massage places in chiang mai, and 1 in bangkok, and I just ran into the best on yet... not only do they in my opinion have the best massage i´ve had yet, but they are also the cheapest!

It´s Huey Kaew Massage, pretty much straight across to hillside 4, yellow sign. Extremely friendly and sweet ladies working there, and can speak a bit of english, enough so they understand what kinda massage you want and if you want it harder, softer etc..

  6. I talked to the 2 shops at the top of sad son kaew(no idea how it´s spelled) supermaket, they don´t have it but said they can order it. I think it was somwhere at airport plaza that said they would have it by now.

  7. December Bar, Chiangers & Bangers & The Local... where are these places?

I´m pretty sure it was called cheerleaders, but I might be wrong. The thai boxing ring was in the middle of this, one place had the pool table, another place had ladyboys dancing YMCA!

    Thanks for the help.

Nothing of this close to Huay Keew Road ?

  8. I´ve seen a pool table at a place besides mad dog resturant, and somewhere near tapai gate where I want to see thai boxing. Can´t remember the name of that place, but it was a square of pubs, one called "cheerleaders" I think and it had a pool table(anyone know the name of that place)?

Anyone know of good places to shoot some pool or snooker(especially some that have a nice quiter wibe than the "cheerleaders" one)?

Near Huay Keew Road would be even better.

  9. I want to learn meditation, but i can´t stay for weeks at a time. A few hours a week or a day a week would be great.

I read about a place that had it for foreigners every other saturday, middle way.. but for the life of me I just can´t find that info again. I also remember reading about some place that you went on a saturday and left the following sunday.. but same story, I just can´t find the info again.

    Can someone please help me.

  10. They´re thin and crispy, first time I actually eat the ends of the pizza and love it, what type is that?

    Maejo,

it´s kinda close to lemon tree and amazing sandwich I think, and on that side of the road.

I also had choco mousse and tiramisju, and I liked that too.

p.s. where is thailand resturant, I often go to lemon tree, good food, but I don´t notice any noodle soops on the menu(but they very well might still be there)?

  11. Title says it all, had pizza today at this italian place called la cipollina, not for from the orchid hotel, and I thought the pizza was outstanding! Pretty small, but it was cheap and great tasting and I love that smallish place cosy vibe, not like sitting at them places at the malls.

  12. Well the lady was really old. so it wasn't anything sexual:) But it just felt awkward, and so I asked her to get out while I washed.. I guess it was because it was one of them oil thingalings, they want you to be clean or something.

No recomendation for massage around here?

  13. I'm staying at huay kaew road and I was hoping someone could recomend a good but cheap thai massage?

And I'd also like to know how them things work, do I have to wear some special clothes, or do they have for me(I'm not standard thai size!). Most of the places I've looked thru the window don't look like they have a place where you can change clothes. In bangkok the lady wanted me to shower and strip in front of her, but that ain't gonna happen.. so I wonder how it works.

  14. Does anyone know of a good golfstore that has a launch monitor, so they can fit me the correct driver? Or just a nice golf store? Either in Bankok or even better in Chiang Mai?

  15. I´ve never been to Thailand before, but I´ll be living in Chiang Mai from November-March and I need help in finding a place to stay. I don´t mind if it´s in the city or a little outside of it(if I can rent a scooter bike), whatever is cheapeast. I can afford about 10-15thousand baht a month. What I need is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, internet.. and a pool would be great, but by no means a must(isn´t there a nice one in the city).

I have no idea how to look for such a place, can´t really find anything on the net.. so I was thinking of maybe booking a hotel the 1 week and hoping I could find something(again.. have not a clue how to look). I would greatly appreciate all help.

I´m also interested in learning mediation, but I can´t go for weeks at at time etc. A day or a few hours at a time would be great... I found some place called Middleway Technique that does it on Saturdays, but I think I found som other place that has courses on Sundays too?? Anyone recomend a place?

I´ll be working out a lot there.. so can anyone recomend a good gym, and are there stores that sell protein drinks(like EAS), and herbal supplements like Long Jack/Tongkat Ali(that even grows in Thailand) ??

    Also.. any good golf facilities?

Hope someone can help me out with any of this.
