I was wondering about this?
For those reading this who are DN and in tech, what positions do you have?
I'm in Hawaii doing IT Help desk, but hope one day to get into Systems Admin, DevOps, or Cybersecurity. Which field has most potential for remote work?
And yes, I do hope to live in Thailand and work remotely some day.

Any suggestions for Chiang Mai?
-
Psychiatrist as in able to prescribe pills.
Hopefully English speaking and trained in Western Medicine as well.
-
Are there any recommended psychiatrists in Thailand? Bangkok perhaps? I'm thinking of living there long term and would like to have one available to see.

What are the cheapest places to fly and come back in for visa runs?

Any place in Bangkok to try?

Where is a good place to pick up an Android TV Box? Hopefully one in English. I want it to be able to play Plex videos (including H265) and run Kodi.
How much do they run?

Is the quality in India good?

I'm going to Thailand and hoping to network a bit while I work my internship for an Artificial Intelligence company.
Recently, I just obtained my CompTIA Security+.
I want to meet other professionals that work for international (non Thai based companies). I especially want to meet recruiters and cyber security specialists.
Are there a lot of tech gatherings where I can meet these kinds of people in Thailand? Especially in Bangkok?
-
Woah, that was way more expensive than I would have thought.

I have a torn ACL. If it needed surgery how much do you estimate it would cost in Thailand out of pocket?

Do people still have in-person meetings at companies and co-working spaces? I'm thinking about visiting just to see if I can meet European or American based employers that work out of Thailand.

I'm considering marrying someone in Thailand so I can stay indefinitely. There is a potential candidate but I am going through my old LINE list to see if any of the rich students I used to teach are interested.
Is it possible for me to sign a prenuptial agreement so that if we get divorced she doesn't get anything? Can I divorce her later and still stick around?

Go back to your own country and obtain a METV.
That will enable a 9 month stay.
After that use your 2 visa exempt entries per calendar year with 30 day extension.
That's one year +.
Do not expect to that as a wash and repeat.
Best option if under 50 and not married to a Thai is a PE visa.
What's your age and how long would you be wanting to stay in Thailand.
I'm 41 and I'd like to stay at least a year but maybe a few. TH is like home to me.
I'm in Hawaii so I might have to fly to a different island to get a special visa, which is expensive and a pain.
What does the PE stand for? I'll look it up. Also, what is the education visa like these days?

Would it be possible to get visa extensions so I could stay for a year or possiblity more? I would be supporting myself with remote work.
I used to go to Laos and get 90 day visas but are people still going to the Thai consulate in Laos?
People have told me about the STV but I've read that it ended in September 2021?
Are all the extensions done in Thailand now?

I figured I would check in. I hate this Covid <deleted>.
The ED Visa is the one where I can learn the language and stay right?
-
I would like to live there for a year or indefinitely.
I am under 50.
I used to live there on an education visa then 60 day tourist visas?
-
Hey guys.
I can get like $1000 a month. Plus I'm open to working.
I would like to live in Bangkok!

Would it be possible for me to live in Bangkok with back to back visas? Maybe the 6 months entry?

Are there psychiatrists in the Philippines? How about medication?

This is a show that takes place during the 70's and it's main location is in Thailand. I believe it's on Netflix and was originally on the BBC.
Anyone else watching it? I am and it's making me scared as hell to go back to Thailand. It's such a good story.

Thailand is kind of too dirty for really high end people, lol.
I'm thinking really high end tourists would rather take their money and go elsewhere? Not to say that the rich couldn't go there and have a blast.
Have you ever had trouble in Pattaya?
