Pattaya police raided 2 entertainment venues last night:

At 9:30 p.m. yesterday (10 January 2022), the Pattaya Police inspected several entertainment venues on Soi Buakhaow and on Walking Street. At two  entertainment venues arrests were apparently made including at a live music bar on Walking Street, South Pattaya, which was still serving drinks to a large number of customers.

Today (4 Jan 2022), the Chonburi Provincial Public Health Office (Chonburi Province) posted on their Facebook page that they're searching for Mr. xxxx xxxx, 30 years old and MISS xxxx xxxx, 32 years old.

Dr. Apirat Katanyutanon, Chonburi Provincial Public Health Doctor, revealed that the two tourists traveled to Thailand via the TEST & GO scheme, The first test for COVID-19 was negative. Later, the hospital did a second RT-PCR test. The result came back positive (infected), without specifying the variant.  The two individuals weren't waiting to hear the results and traveled to Bangkok

Police raided an ecstasy party in Bangkok's Huai Khwang area in the early hours on January 1st, 2022.

The BiB found 1 bag of ecstasy and 9 bags of ketamine.

27 people, 17 males and 10 females were charged in connection with the raid.

Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Police officers in Pattaya rushed to the scene. 

When they arrived at the scene, they found a large number of people watching. The body of the foreign tourist Mr. xxxxx xxxxx, 47, was found unconscious on the road. He had a head wound. There were foreign tourists to help him. No mention (anymore) that many didn't want to help because they thought he had covid. Seems that they've pulled that part as well.
