You never ask a baht bus how much. Just get in and pay the minimum when you get there, otherwise it's hire and reward. Same as a taxi.

He could gear it up to a waving coconut tree. This has been done before. A tree bends with the wind many hours of the day and can be harnessed through ropes, pulleys and a wheel the power transferred to his winding device.

The Bangkok Sky Train is If it is un affordable, then why are the trains so crowded with passengers?
The trains and service are cleaner, better and more on time than anything the UK has got.

America could absorb millions more. There are vast areas in many states in the west completely empty. Very sad looking at all the comments on here with absolutely no compassion for the less fortunate than you. Be careful how you denigrate other people as you may find yourself in your next lifetime in poverty and fleeing from violence like they are now. Pray tell what are they supposed to do with themselves and their families when they are hungry and terrified of being murdered? Most people on here this time around have been given a pretty easy life with opportunities etc in the west world. The Christian idea is to help those less fortunate than you and have some compassion.
"Are there no poor houses?" a quote from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Shame on you with no caring for the less fortunate. Shame on you.
There are also many areas in Arabia, Africa, the Russian steps, China that have empty lands <removed>

He's right, the U.S. Government is not running a resort chain on the southern border. Most of these migrant detention centers are providing better conditions than most homeless U.S. citizens can only dream about.
Instead of welcoming the world, Obama's detention centers could have been avoided if he was stronger on keeping the border safe.

How thoughtful of the police to be so concerned about these poor girls being trafficked.
How interesting that their captors let them come and go on multiple visas?
I wonder what the benefits are for them being part of ASEAN? Doesn't sound like much if they can only get a 30 day tourist visa.

Are they the same horrifying conditions that immigrant children had to endure under Obama?

Those girls are good.
I hope those poor Thai girls don't think that they were robbed by English people. The robbers looked a bit east European.

Some years ago when there were virtually no African visitors to Thailand A guy who I presumed was Nigerian by his accent approached me in Robinson's store in Sukhumvit. Hi man, hows it going? What are you doing in Thailand?
I thought that he was being friendly to another foreigner;
Then he said Do I want to buy some gold?
Oh! yeah! I laughed I bet you will ask me to give you the money and you meet me back here with the gold.
Now there are numerous pimps and Nigerian ladies on the street, mainly on the Muslim area of Sukhumvit.
Whilst in Beijing I was also approached by an African offering me drugs.
What! in China?
I often wonder if he actually had some and if he had got caught what his sentence would be?
A trip to a clinic maybe?

I wonder if the numerous accidents both sea and land that the Chinese tourist suffer are reported in China, as there is no free press there. I also wonder if the many Chinese tourists will be covered for compensation by the bus and ferry companies insurance?

Thank you Salvini, Orban, Farage, Geert Wilders, Poland, Czechoslovakia and the Austrian's etc for bringing a little sanity into Europe.
All these economic migrant people have their own countries. It's not our fault if they can't look after what they have.
The same goes for the hordes of migrants trying to get to the US. Fight back against your oppressors like we Europeans had to in our past civil wars.
Do or die.

I should think that a determined person could get round these bio metric procedures.
e.g. With bio metric face scanning that immigration want to bring in;
What if someone was to start to wear a beard, mustache?
Would he be asked to shave it off before being allowed entry?
What if he would start to wear glasses, change his eye color with contact lenses, slightly change his hair or skin color that doesn't correspond to his passport photo?
What if he should wear a dress and change sex?
What about ladies wearing burqa?
I would think that a clever criminal could also disguise his finger prints. It's been done before.
A waste of money and overkill if you ask me. It wasn't required before, so why now?
Are they worried about all the millions of Chinese, North African and Middle Eastern tourists that they are encouraging in in the future?
Crooks will always find way around the law, but it is the innocents that have to pay the price.

There are several locally made brands of this. Best to contact the distributors and ask them for name of a pharmacy in Nong Khai they have supplied to.
Most local brands are betahistimn mesylate rather than dihydochloride. For the dihydoCL form, only local brand is:

Thank you for your information chubby. 4 years ago I suffered from a mid ear infection during a very cold holiday in Amsterdam. A few months later I was admitted in hospital because of labyrinthitis. After treatment with cinnarizine and domperidone the symptoms disappeared. But I have to take 2 or 3 times per day Betahistine 16mg since then, because of (mild/imbalance) vertigo.
Hi, I have had extreme vertigo for 10 years now. It come and goes without warning. I can no longer go swimming in the sea, as I had an attack while snorkeling and it frightened me. I didn't know which was up and which was down. My girl friend pulled me out and just laid me on my stomach in the shoreline for 30 minutes, because I just couldn't move any further. Also I have had an attack once or twice on the motorbike, but can stop and rest quickly. But I wouldn't drive a car anymore. Too dangerous.
I heard that a passenger Singapore airline pilot crashed his plane due to vertigo killing everyone on board.
My doctor cannot recommend any surgery or exercise. In fact they don't know much about it.
I have been getting my Betahistine from the NHS in the UK on a repeat prescription. My family sends it out, but it is a hustle for them I have actually run out and now I have been taking Merislon 6 mg Betahistine Mesilate which works fine and is available over the counter in most Thai pharmacies. They cost 90 baht for a strip of 10.
Actually, I think one 6mg x 3 per day dose works fine for me.
I had been taking Cinnarazine for 3 years which my UK doctor recommended, but after eventually reading the warning leaflet it stated; Prolonged use can result in Parkinsons disease. Bloody idiot!
My Thai doc recommended Betahisine which has very few side affects.
Sounds like you have a similar situation to me.

Other than banning those chemicals and enforcing the ban, there is nothing to be done about it. Farmers here will continue to do what they do. No sense of caution or empathy. Unless of course they can be shown there is more money to be made organically. Most farmers here learn about how and what to spray from their dad, uncle, neighbor. None of them have been through a course. They wrap a cloth around their face to spray but use bare hands on the nozzle. My father in law sprays for neighbors, does it for days on end. No precautions, done it for years. This year he has hardly been off the couch, for health issues.
In my 30 years of being a gardener and not being made aware of the danger of the chemicals that I used all the time such as Malathion, Copper Sulphate, Glyphosphate, fungicides etc etc etc and never wearing a mask. I am still healthy and have escaped the poisons. I also cut up and busted up countless boards of insulation pipes, gutters, roofing tiles of asbestos in my time.
There was no warning of the dangers and consider myself lucky. There is no excuse now.

Globalization is a curse. Every country should strive for self sufficiency as much as possible by making their own products. Thai's are a hard working talented people, they can do it. They are great at growing their own food, but depending on investments from foreign business leads to slavery.

North African people are generally poor except for a few scumbags that have made their money through corruption and anyway North Africa has it's own beautiful beaches and interesting tourist sites.
The wealthy middle east people want to get out of the heat of their own countries and always go to the cooler Mediterranean countries for their vacations. Many may come just for the sex pots like Pattaya.
Good luck with that.

Aung San Suu Kyi hasn't got much power to do anything in Burma. She's not allowed to and she has very little control. She is just the poster girl for the military government's democratic tokenism.
The military government are the ones that are in control.
I would imagine that she has to walk a very fine line.
Perhaps there is a dislike of the Bangladeshi immigrants in Burma, because of their religious separatism and how Muslims generally regard non Muslims ( or infidel as we are called )

Zebra Crossings to be made safe in Thailand, says Royal Thai Police
in Thailand News

Good it's about time pedestrians were prioritized over motorbikes and cars. However zebra crossing are only put there to look good in the worlds eye. They have never meant anything especially to make the cars stop. If I have to cross the road I never use a zebra crossing.
