Got my 1 year marriage extension yesterday at Sisaket.   I think that you will need a legal translation of your marriage certificate from the Thai Embassy in the country where you got married.  My wife arranged that and we had no problem.  A friend did not and has to go back to Hong Kong to get it.

    You will also need a 'Family' certificate from the appropriate office in your Thai locality.  Immigration will not issue a marriage visa without that.  A few other document require also...House Certificate, photos of the two of you, inside the house and out, showing the address plaque.   Perhaps other docs ?

     

     

  2. The most obvious and important for everyone to do is to write a will, preferably one for each jurisdiction where they have assets.  Everyone who cares about their dependants should do that. It is not expensive and can save time and money for those left behind.
