I have never had a problem re-entering Thailand, but I always do it every 90 days, except when I leave Thailand for a holiday.  Savannakhet and Saigon (HCMC) are the two options for a Non O without financials.

ok, and other embassies require 400k in your bank just to get the O-visa multi entry? if not, how much do they ask to see in your bank?

90 day or go to immigration with wife and get a 60 day extension based on visiting wife. So 5 months then border hop

Yes with all relevant paper work in order

Still have to do a 90 day report at immigration.

Yes you can get a WP on a non O based on marriage. And if you stop working your visa is secure.

do you do a 90 day report if youre border running every 5 months with the visa extension? also is it true that if youre on a muli entry O visa, and you border run alot, that you wont have any trouble getting into the country, like how sometimes people who constantly border run on tourist visa might get denied entry? is there a website you can do the 90 day reports easily? Is savankhet the only place you can get the O-visa multi entry w/o financial proof of 400k?

  4. I want to become educated on this visa as I'm interested in marrying my gf in a couple of years and want to know how the visa situation works and my friend would like to know aswell. I have read on here before and is this correct? I'm US nationality, and my friend is from Netherlands and might want to marry his thai gf in the future.

    1. If you dont have 400k in a thai bank, then you can go to the thai embassy in Savannakhet and get a O-visa multi entry and this lasts a year, and you'd have to border run every 2 months (3 if you extend it everytime at the immigration office in thailand)

    2. If you have 400k and you're on an O-visa you can just go to immigration office and extend it by a year, and never have to border run for a whole year

    3. You can teach english on an O-visa and not have to worry about visa problems if you quit the job for another job, basically the O-visa makes it so much easier than being on a business visa because you dont have a week to leave the country if you quit

interested in this. could i log onto my VPN on the android box and watch amazon prime or netflix with the VPN on, and it'd show me titles available in US? I want to watch some HBO shows on amazon prime and theyre not in the thai amazon video. Could you link on amazon the model you have?

Also which android box model would u recommend? You think i could find the box in a Thai mall?

If the OP #prevaill wants to use his VPN in a simplified way to watch Netflix or Catchup TV on his smart Samsung TV, the easiest, as previously suggested is to use your laptop.. With the Nord VPN loaded, and the designated country sorted, and Netflix or others installed to your laptop, you then find your source and view on your computer and via a HDMI cable running from laptop to HDMI port on your TV, you are up and running.. On your TV remote, under SOURCE, find the HDMI that's connected, click on it and your problems are solved..

You cannot cast or mirror Netflix from your phone to TV if your VPN is connected to your phone.. So via your laptop, it is very easy..

ok so I buy a HDMI to HDMI cord for this method? Also when I search for apps on my smart tv, would US apps suddenly be available, such as Hulu, or would they still not appear on the app section of the tv? Also, would it work if i used my phone with my VPN on and used a microusb to HDMI and plugged that into the tv, or does it only work with laptops?

I had the same problem , as someone mentioned above most smart TVs dont allow you to add All the apps you need due to their unique operating systems.

I found it easier to buy a android box for around £10 , then you can basically add what you want .

Assuming you have a laptop, it would be easier to put the VPN on that and then cast to your TV. A friend tried to connect his Samsung via VPN but gave up because it would never work effectively ....and he is a software geek. Samsung TVs have their own operating system, not your usual run of the mill Android.

I do have a laptop, how do i "cast" it to my tv and what does that mean?

You should be able to install and run the nordVPN app on the samsung TV.

On what device do you currently use the VPN ? If its a laptop etc, maybe a better option to use current device and HDMI to the television.

I have a smart phone and laptop. How do i install nordvpn on a smart tv?

When you leave the USA, switch you phone to Airplane mode and then open your Settings and then open the Wi-Fi and search for Wi-Fi connections.  You should be able to find an airport Wi-Fi service.

i mean when i arrive at the BKK airport, how do i get wifi? i heard they have a free wifi but you need a password, how do i get it

  11. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with TSA and bringing pills onto a plane. I'm using united airlines, and going from virginia to new jersey, then new jersey to japan, then japan to thailand. My japan flight is like 13 hours long and I'm wondering if they'd let me bring a couple of sleeping pills onto my flight so i can sleep good on the japan flight. I'd wanna take the pills like 10min before boarding the flight to japan

  12. Going to thailand in august for the first time. I bought my ticket with the skyscanner app, and it took me to hop2. Purchased the ticket on hop2 and i have an eticket. I've never used etickets before, how do i get my boarding pass on the day of my flight? All i have is the email confirmation from hop2, along with the eticket provided in the email

  13. I'm coming to thailand for the first time in August and I'm from USA, I'm wondering if I need an adapter to be able to plug in my laptop charger, phone etc into walls in thailand? My friend from UK says he needs adapters but not sure about americans
