Anyone have any advice on how i can get my two dogs to live together without fighting

I have a 9 month old Doberman dog that i have just acquired and a pit-bull cross dog that i have had for 4 years

The Doberman is quite passive and not aggressive but when i try to put them together the pit cross wants to fight then obviously the Doberman retaliate

I can get the two to feed near each other if the pit cross is in his cage when the Doberman is out he goes near the pit cross in his cage and there is no problem until i take him out of his cage

So we have 3 alternatives to the current situation:

1. djc45's idea of typing "quote post#" - needs the member to scroll up to find the post (with the problem of deleted posts changing post numbers) and back down again to read the reply

I, of course, like my idea the best.

not true, opalhort posted a reply with a link to the post he was quoting and when i clicked on it the post opens in a separate window so no need for any scrolling and i could read the quote at the side of the post i was reading just the deleted ones to sort out to keep the post numbers in order

i don’t know how opalhor made the post link but it works

Thanks for the replies, appreciate the safest option would be to go to immigration in BKK but will see what the Embassy say when collect new passport.

i tried to do what has been suggested by lopburi and they refused at the Thai immigration saying just to take my old passport mine at the time was a none'o' visa and the British embassy also told me just take my old passport and my new one

a friend who has just returned to the uk had a problem with his passport it was defaced by his wife and he need to get a new passport this he did the page that had his entry stamp was intact and he was also told by the British embassy there would be no problem when he exits Thailand he was on the 30 day free entry he had no problems when he went back, this was around 6 weeks ago

Yes, using "post#..." is possible, but there are two problems:

1: in a multi page topic it can take a long time to find the post

2: From my observation, if a post is deleted by the mods for whatever reason the post numbers of the following posts change. If for example post#30 was deleted then post#31 becomes post#30 and so on.

In my opinion a link to the post under the REPLY button could solve all the problems if this is technically possible.

I visited this place last week and my observations are as follows:

Clean place and nice people

Offerings not up to my standards and I drove 350 km to buy his meats. No American , Australian, or Argentine beef. Just some frozen Thai-French beef from Sakon Nakhon. Tried that all ready to my disappointment.

Wanted to buy a ham, a whole ham, a real ham, Virginia, Tennessee, Honey, Smoked, or salted. Sorry, no have, just some very old freezer burned stuff from god knows where that had passed it's expiration date long ago.

In am afraid the guy is doomed in this market due to limited stock and limited turn over.

The pastries were less than appealing and grossly overpriced.

A big letdown for me as I crave a good steak and some quality corn fed pork for my clan.

Guess I will soon be inn the meat business.

the friend of mine was married 10yrs ago to his thai wife outside thailand then when they moved to thailand 4yrs ago they built thier house so its joint owend she left him 2 months ago and went overseas then came back a few days ago with the police to remove some of her stuff

I am an American Guy, I have lived in Thailand 5 years, Brittan 6 months, Spain a month and France a month, the British behavior while on holiday is outrageous. I fully understand the Spanish Government arresting them repeatedly, if not in bulk and deporting them, Drunk and fighting every night in the pubs, France too. There were bars in France where I couldn't get a drink until I showed my passport to prove I was not British. Thailand is a little further, we can hope only the somewhat more responsible Britts get that far from home, that they might not still be somewhat special, I have no doubt. Behave yourselves! English speakers around the world suffer the consequences of what U do on Holiday!

I pretty sure you can't deport EU citizens from an EU country.

The most worrying fact obviously is that he has been arrested and bailed before proven guilty.

But even more worrying is this: caught with one or two fake bills, the assumption is that he is a forger and he is treated as one. This could happen to any innocent person here.

Think the police have acted correct it would be the same in most countries

Arrested and charged on suspicion of the crime and bail you until they make further investigations

and you are allways arrested before proven guilty
