  1. With all these coronavirus news I'm totally freak out right now. I have (on and off) colds for the past 5-6 days now. No fever but I felt weak than normal. I have food allergies that sometimes caused me to sneeze or colds like effect though.

I went to Malaysia early December. Never went to Pattaya center area since end of December. Could be psychological thing only... ????

Thanks, Jun2x. I haven't taken any photos yet, but I have heard that raw shooting offers superior image quality and manipulation. I have no idea how much better it is, but I will definitely give it a go. Thanks for the link to DARKTABLE. I will download it today and explore the features ????

Technically, a RAW image is a minimally processed image straight from your camera, hence, the name "RAW". JPEG on the other hand (in simple terms) the camera already processed it for you (but not that excellent) ????

So, how to make your photo look superb? We follow what the professional photographers do and shoot RAW formats then process it using photo editing softwares such as the Darktable. ???? Although the final image quality of RAW formats will actually depend on your post-processing skills, but in the long run once you already have that "skills" I'm sure you would never shoot JPEG formats again. ????

Thanks, Jun2x, but I already bought my camera. It's a Panasonic Lumix something-or-other. Can't comment on it yet as it's still in the box ????

Oh great! Panasonic lumix uses micro four thirds lenses (M43/MFT) too. Its interchangeable with Olympus lenses. Enjoy shooting soon.

BTW, do you shoot RAW format or are you familiar with Raw format? If not, i highly recommend to shoot using the setting RAW + Jpeg at first and learn how to post process your Raw images using free software such as DARKTABLE (instead of Adobe LightRoom which you need to pay subscription). I'm still in the learning process of this software and I'm so please with it so far.

I see Lightroom and Photoshop advertised on Lazada for less than B1000.  I'm sure also on sale at Fortune & Pantip Plaza. Are these versions likely to be pirated clones and would they likely cause problems in the long run?

    Any comments welcome.

I HIGHLY recommend DARKTABLE and GIMP app for FREE... I'm currently using it and believe me, its a very capable photo enhancing/post-editing apps just like LR and PS. Mind you, its totally FREE. You can also look up in youtube for tutorials.

    Thank me later. ^^

Here are the kind of features I would use:

    • Wide/telephoto zoom
    • Long timed exposure control
    • Aperture priority
    • Shutter priority
    • Shutter speed control
    • Timer and remote shutter release
    • Program and manual modes
    • Ability to mount onto a tripod

Why not buy Olympus EM10 mark iii? It has all the features you're looking for and its very handy with lots of lens selection to choose from. I actually owns one and its a great mirrorless SLR camera.

(I'm planning to upgrade for a full frame camera so if you want, i can sell my camera to you on a friendly price ^^)

Hi bro, my boss is a Thai guy and is looking for a long range stock for his Remington 700 from overseas vendor. Is stock a regulated item in Thailand? Can he order it overseas without hassle? Lastly, can you recommend a good vendor? Thanks.
