Does it need the police and army to show people how to wash their hands now?
Are the government saying this is needed as the general population are hard-of-learning?
When I first saw the picture I thought they were going to fight the virus using martial arts.
I thought they practice the Gangnam Style

I'm heading off from Sydney to Bangkok at end of month and i'm quite looking forward to a breath of fresher air ...
Sydney now 81 straight days of nasty air ...
... and from the normally pristine country town Parkes, a few hundred kilometres west of Sydney, this interesting drone footage ...
Shut up your filthy lying mouth
And on top of that stop the BS of comparing once in 50+ years natural catastrophy to yearly retardation.

It is the best indicator of a country's prosperity and development. The Baht is behaving like the German Mark was in the 60s and the 70s, and for much the same reasons. Winners have become losers.
You should see a doctor mate, fever took over.
Thai labor highly valued?
Some of the worst education system.
Average salary 14k but that is official statistic believable as much as their 1.1% unemployment. Real median wage when including Isaan would be probably under 8000 a month. That is for 10 hours a day 6 days a week work you German Mark.
Or perhaps the slavery fishermen is highly valued?

There are plenty of places circ 800k, probably old thai style inside but spend some money and make it better. in the 30-40 metres range, examples are Pattaya Plaza Condo, Pattaya Pad, Nirun, they typically rent for circ 5k a month. If you don't like them buy elsewhere at a higher price
Just Googled the first one, and yes it is for 800k but as I said it's a slum, surrounded by a train track and a highway (from what I see at the map) not what I would consider livable for long term living.
No way it rents for 8-10k a month unless the tenant has mental issues. Just because it's asking price online doesn't mean it is realistic price.

$40k sitting in a bank in Australia was giving me 2% interest, not enough to pay the rent here, the same $40k in a condo and I never pay rent ever again, Thats 8k-10k a month I have to spend on other things
Can you show me where are livable condos for 800,000 THB?
Maybe slums with 25 sq metres dog houses in the middle of nowhere. And these do not rent for 8-10k a month.

Inflation on imported products is 20-40% due to the fact that prices never lowered with the exchange rate
We can be sure they will put the prices up when THB goes back though

Prices of almost everything in supermarkets higher than in the West.
Quality restaurants prices on pair with the West.
Staff wages 1/10 or 1/5 if they lucky
The difference goes to the top

Even your neighbors in SE Asia - Vietnam and Philippines are growing GDP like crazy and tourism sky rocketing in to their countries
It's more fun in the Philippines anyway
+ way cheaper
+ no rude holes behind a desk screaming
"you come too often!!!!"
"what you do here?"
"you want that sweet 345 THB for 10 hours of work job, riiight?"
Instead you can stay 3 years on tourist visa without even leaving the country

Can you point with finger on map to show where is the bad world economy?
The only economies going to toilet are Thailand, India, China
And funnily Thailand expect India and China to save them lol
Meanwhile Europe and US are doing well with some of the lowest unemployment in decades.

Its like they dont care about its presentation. Just put the sign up. Maybe sweep the floors thats it and they want top price despite the fact that the place needs some money spent on it.
Back home people are anal about having perfect looking houses/ buildings to get the top price. In Thailand they are either stingy, lazy or clueless about marketing a property. Amazing Thailand...
It's not about selling, it's about the way they live.
There is no concept of "My house my castle" when majority of westerners want to have beautiful, neat home they can be proud of and feel nice living in. Thais simply don't give a sh** if there is any work involved.
Just visit houses where people live - often it looks worse than prison. Even if the people aren't poor.
