    Thanks for all the comments.

In the end it is the Isuzu V Cross 4x4 auto which is being purchased.

Retail is Bt1,257,000 and there is about 30k off this and a few freebies like liners, internal wheel arch protection, tank of fuel, 5 years servicing.

Not a massive deal but it is a decent interior, will last 10+ years and still have a decent residual value.

Can’t really go wrong with Isuzu.

    Nice color!

Trying to turn the argument around are we? You make a claim, that claim is disputed, backup your claim please.

Sorry, not you but cmarshall should backup.

What are you, a kindergarten teacher?

I made no claim. Dude called him a liar and claimed he did the research. I was only asking what he had found.

    I agree, I think it’s much lower.

Great thanks for another option to check into. 15k is a lot seeing I can get it done back in the US for about 5,500b with x-rays. I, was just hoping to find someone reputable here in BKK for around the same price if not a little less. The one I use back home is great but It's just been hard with Covid to set an appointment as they are running thru the back log from being closed most of the time during the pandemic and unfortunately I had to cancel my next appointment cause it conflicted with me being over here for the next couple months.

You might get a simple cleaning for that, but you are not going to get a dentist in the US to spend an hour in your mouth for that.

Yes the tariff wall kills them, just can't compete on price. Mazda and Honda with their assembly plants in ASEAN countries satisfy the criteria and thus dodge the tariff.

I wonder if we'll see the Korean makes follow suit and set up manufacture/assembly plants in an ASEAN country down the track a bit

Kia manufacturers in Vietnam. Is Vietnam not an ASEAN country?

I doubt the market here is big enough to support them.

A lot of moaning on about tariffs, but no one seems to care about excise taxes which are much more painful.
