Make sure you check out Rocky Bar in Centre Point. There's a really good live duo who play decent and varied music. You can even have a sing song with them, if you like.

I've dived in November from Ao Nang with Aquavision Divers for the past few years and have not had any problems.

If you dive with a reputable company, they won't sail if bad weather either prevails or is forecast.

I also dived out of Phuket in November 2005 but was not impressed at all. The boat was massive and the dive decks were very crowded.

I totally agree. When did we stop punishing scum and start to try rehabilitation? They don't change their ways, because they have it too easy in prison. No rent, mortgage, utility or food bills. They have more friends inside prison than outside, so why should they change?

It's time we got back to the days when the punishment fitted the crime and people knew that if they murdered, they in turn would be executed by the state.

I stayed at the SP Power Lodge for 1,800 baht including free taxi from and back to the airport. The rooms are basic, but OK. They have bathroom, fridge and TV with a massive double bed.

Breakfast is not very nice, though (cold sausage and eggs).
