  1. Thanks - I'm rooting around for the best replacement for the hard reset, but still not working T95.
  2. Still going. "Acme" from here was helpful and indicated he was going to stop by, but didn't. I was able to hard reset the T95, but it's shot so I'll need to replace it. Thanks for asking,
  3. Sadly, United being both a legacy airline with a long history and a U.S. Airline to boot, these flights to popular destinations tend to be populated by the oldest and most surly flight attendants on the planet who use their seniority to grab the flight and do the bare minimum on what's essentially a shopping trip. I used the fly United several times a year between Shanghai and the States and gave it up for younger, more attractive flight attendants willing to work for their living.
  4. Regarding the HARD RESET: There is a small pinhole on the back of the T95. I do not get any vibration or reset menu when unplugging, replugging and depressing anything inside that pinhole following your instructions. You're certainly welcome to give it a go if you can stop by. I'm in the Condos of what was called the Centara before the Chinese conman in Singapore lost the building and a lot else with his arrest. You're right - it's directly across from the ne Avenue Boutique sales office.
  5. On the Soft Reset: I can go to SYSTEM and get a REBOOT option. However, It has a message "Attention: This feature has been removed from the APP Starter hold "Enter/Select" button + "Play" button to restart FIreTV." My controller does not have a "Play Button."
  6. Still can't get Google Play/Store to load.
  7. Right.........there are three (3) icons on the T95 App Screen that are marked "Google Pl..." One is a puzzle piece. None of them do anything when I select and click on them. I was able to verify on my laptop that I am logged into the T-95, but that's all.
  8. Scud missiles haven't appeared - neither have Drones. First I lost access to "Sky" and "Sky News." more recent;y to YouTube which appears on the App screen (see attached), but just loops back to the App Screen Icon and never starts. Same result with a screen freeze when trying to install YouTube. Most other Apps aren't working. The guy who installed the ting and sold it too me was fixated on porn, so there are plenty of porn Apps about which I could care less. Thanks
  9. Have an Android T95 Box installed about 5ive years ago. Hopelessly out-of-date and out of my skill set. Looking for on-site, turn-key fix for cash.
  10. Not partial to technology, brand or color. I just need some smart individual to come to my door, spend less than an hour fixing the damn thing and going away with cash. Suits me fine.
  11. I don't know what KODI is............. I was using it to get various TV/Internet video from an Internet connection. I'm now losing access to YouTube and lost "Sky" long ago. Clicking on YouTube just loops back to the icon. The T95 is connected to my WIFI and then to a Sharp (brand) TV. The guy who sold it to me and installed it, was a Brit with heavily accented (London?) English very difficult to understand. I picked up every tenth word or so and he was in a hurry. I agree it needs a significant update or a total replacement. Thanks for your reply.
  12. It's all about the money and perpetual control. Not enough palms have been greased yet and China won't ever give up control. Gonna be a long, long time.
  13. In Pattaya - Looking to update, repair or replace an older Android T95 TV box. Installed by some UK Farang about 4 years ago. On site please. Any recommendation will be welcome. Thanks.
  14. Different Branch isn't working according to the Banks and the branches at Central (in Pattaya), and in Jomtien. Seems it's a new policy from the hed office and others are seeing it at Bangkok Bank everywhere. I think early on, like in July when the policy first changed, some folks were able to find uninformed branches and were able to beat the system. Alas, switching banks won't help this cycle.
  15. The Bangkok Bank statements and the letter listing all the foreign deposits that they issued until this year clearly marked the source as a US Government Agency. It was directly deposited to the Bangkok Bank New York Branch for a fee of course and then the New York Branch did an internal transfer to my local branch in Pattaya. Immigration wants the same letter, not a stamped copy of my bank statement for one year (with the deposits also clearly marked as coming from the US Government). Seems it's solely a Bangkok Bank change of policy. The cost for the fix, including switching to another bank is going to be about 30K Baht.
  16. I usually get a Bangkok Bank letter verifying monthly deposits from the U.S. Treasury to a Foreign t they are no longer issuing the letters. They aren't. The best they could do was "stamp" a multi-page, one year statement from the account. Neither Immigration nor my Agent would take the alternative and insisted on the previously issued Bank Letter. Their advice? Switch Banks.
