    "Leftists" like Liz Cheney?

The truth is that all decent Americans that ever paid attention in civics  or history classes oppose Trump.

can you write at least USAmericans please? ... May be you dont know it, but Brazil, Mexico, Peru and even Canada is AMERICA too.
Even if I could not vote in the USA i was a Trump Supporter, until this strike for the Jews in Iran at least,  where the USA having no business at all and it finally was clear WHO is behind US Politics even with Trump.
I wich we had more people like  Thailand in our western countries, At least here they just watch for a  certain time before changing the government...and if they go on like this, We will see another "change"

Welcome to Thailand Where wealth distribution is highly uneven (worsened since the 2014 military coup) . "While about 0.1% of the population owns nearly half of the country's assets, a significant portion of the population lives in poverty. Specifically, it's estimated that the wealthiest 1% control 67% of the nation's wealth."

    (Google)

hahhahahah ROFLMAO... another Thaksin follower?  I  was LOVING the Military took over the government in Thailand and lots of things have improved, may be things not visible to you but many Thais want the Military to come back! The only thing Thaksin did good was the 30.-Baht insurance sheme and making Phuket DRUG FREE as he promised. But he  was also great in becoming the 7th richest guy on the planet regarding to FORBES..wonder how he did this. I am living in Thailand since 27years and i know no people living on the streets or starving... BUT i can give you a lot of examples from western so called civilised countries lead by USAmerica where i wittnessed more homeless and poor people as in ALL Asian cities combined incl. Bombay°!

    • Haha 1
  5. Just ANSWER him with buying NOTHING from USAmerica anymore, from CocaCola to Pringles, LUX soap and all the other cr4p in supermarkets and do not watch USAmerican TV series anymore. I know its hard but its the only way they learn they are NOT the WORLD!!!
For most USAmericans USAmerica is THE WORLD to them.
    .
and yes i write USAmerica because i am having friends in Mexico, Nicaragua, Colombia, Brazil and Peru and even Canada... ALL AMERICANS!!
    .
most USAmericans cant  even handle a WORLD map, i met a guy in Detroit once he told me, when he will visit Germany next year, he will have a stopover in Brazil, it must be very close .... and no,  was not the brother of Madonna,  even if he had the same level...nice guy but...

  6. gooood morning folks,

i need to buy or upgrade some things in my little house here in Nongkhai. Just doing holidays here from freakn Phuket for about 4-5 month, before going back to hell.

I found some stuff online and learned there is often a price difference of 1000-5000.-Baht for the same fridge or Laundry Machine. Specially Thai Watsadu seems to be the

most expensive shop when it comes to this, while TESCO Lotus is often the cheapest.
    .
Ok i could order in Shopee or Lazada but the wife is not happy with it, saying you will get no customer service. Also i learned just yesterday for a laundry machine with a SPECIAL PRICE of 8990.-ONLY

from Hisense there was suddenly a shipping fee of 2200.-Baht applied while the same item was 10,990 a day before, so actually you safe nothing.
    .
long talking short, what is your opinion on a good shop for this above mentioned items in Udon Thani or Nongkhai?
I know there is HomePro - GlobalHouse - and Whatsadu but are there other, may be even smaller shops with good prices and something like a customer service IF something happends?
bought a laundrymachine from BEKO in Phuket a year ago and it was broken after 2month, GlobalHouse reacted fast and sent a technician, problem was only the door lock, solved easy.
    .
Thanks in advance for answers and  cheers from Rattanawapee

    Just the facts.

Nana Dental Clinic in Huahin put 6 implants, upper and lower jaws for my GF two years ago. Have two year grantee on the implants, and 6 month revisits for checkup. Excellent work. Total cost 210,000฿.

Great, in Phuket  they asked me for something similar between 600-800,000 THAIBAHT,
Unfortunately in Thailand you are often taxed by skincolour and if you are a foreigner or Farang, prices are often triple the prices for average Thais.  This dentist was  in Phuket town, opposite a huge hotel and i will not name him here, even if i  really would like to ????

  8. Dental  work is  not really cheap in Thailand anymore, May be compared to the US or Down Under, having not really an idea how much you are paying in Australia but i had a guest doing all her teeth here in 6 weeks and she was absolutely happy (in Phuket)
Just to give you a number.  I had a teeth pulled out in Chiang Mai in 1993 for 30!!! Baht only by a great  English speaking dentist. Atm prices for this "work" is between 600-1000.-Baht
The tourist areas are more expensive but  when you are lucky you can still find good dentists in the Cities away from Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok. I  guess the  rural areas in Bkk are cheaper too.
I am having a nice dentist atm in Nongkhai, he  has another Cliniqe in UdonThani too and his prices are reasonable.
    :
But to say its cheap at least is not true for Europeans anymore, many travel to Hungaria or Slovakia or other eastern European countries where the work is often better and cheaper as in Thailand.
    :

I am aware of this thread is from August but i was searching for a DENTIST in NONGKHAI  and could not find anything here
    :
Cheers and have fun. I  will gladly let you know how my experience really was when it is all  done in a couple of weeks

    Only 80%?

what are you saying? That every Policemen or Women in this country is corrupt? And what country you are coming from where it is different... or are just the prices higher?
Really, most people constantly complaining about their guest country THAILAND should just pack and leave for the country they are coming from and where everything was much much better ???? ???? ????

... but hey, thats exactly why i dont read or write in THAIVISA or now ASEANNOW Forum anymore, to many frustrated ppl sitting all day long on their keyboard with no life at all. Go out, have fun, you dont need drugs or Alc for it. Buy yourself a Motorcycle and RIDE ????
really, how people can manage to write or comment close to 20,000 Times???? I am here since 2004 and do not have this number ???? ???? ????

Now I know you're just having a laugh. Even Asian people admit that they can't always tell which country a specific Asian person is from. In Thailand for instance, the entire ethnic origins of the Thai people are a matter of scholarly debate. For a start, you have a mixture of people of Chinese, Khmer, Malayan or other Asian country origin, along with the various hill tribes.

The history of South-East Asia is full of population migrations, invasions, subjugation of adjoining territories, shifting borders etc, leading to various amounts of mixing of the populations.

How many times for instance, has Thailand invaded or been invaded by Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam etc?

The answer is many, many times, stretching back over centuries. And every time one country invades another or the borders change, there is a mixing of the gene pool.

WHICH Asian people admit that and why are you considering them to be more fit in this area as i am Mr .Wisenheimer? Are you sometimes having difficulties not having the last word or with people knowing things, you do not? ... was just a  rhetorical question, dont bother and btw, it was off topic.  ????

I think you're the one who's delusional. For instance, many people of white Southern European (Mediterranean) origin are almost indistinguishable from some Indian people.

As an example, here are pictures of two men taken at random from the internet. I can tell you that one at the top is Indian and the one at the bottom is Italian. I would defy anyone (who didn't already know that) to say that they could distinguish their respective ethnic origins with 100% certainty.

You saying a wife who was first hand witness have no reliability?

For sure she can make her statement and tell the  judge how it was or better how she see it was. She is mentally hooked to her died husband,  so the lawyer  will try to telling the jury (if there is one, even in Europe there are jurys) she will tell the story of her point of view.  There is a reason you can refuse to  witness against your relatives, family or close friends.... damn my English suxx  sry

  14. 32 minutes ago, GroveHillWanderer said:

The only witness to the altercation as far as I'm aware, is the dead man's wife (the son was only two at the time, so too young to give testimony). I'd have thought she would readily give witness testimony in Norway. It's not as if it's that far from London, where they live, according to reports.

nah not really, witnesses are also the people heard him singing his Opera (not the first time  like another newspaper wrote) and people seeing him drinking  before or knowing him private. Thats all witnesses. The wife will not be very reliable for the lawyer, since she and the victim were related.
    .
However, the stories i read so far about this guy dont let him really  shine.  But hey,  its Phuket and everybody here can do what he wants to  do  right? I am living here  now since 25 years straight and from what i was seeing in arrivals in the past years here, it will not become much better ... CLASS instead of MASS should it be but instead GREED is running the island....we take everything and everybody now... GanjaHeads and DrugAddicts of the world, just move to THAILAND ????

nice article here from ThaiExaminer Newspaper with some more details ThaiExaminer

Hm,...I hope never to get into a similar situation,...I don't trust Thai Justice !!!

absoltutely  right. In the same  situation, i  guess that was the best he could do, trying to reach his homecountry. In Thailand you are always  with one leg in jail, most ppl do not realize it but what if you are having an accident and somebody dies and the learned you had a beer before.  Walking in Chains for at least  a couple of years is  for sure no fun and murder is a different number here,  there are plenty of books  about Bangkok Hilton.

  16. ahhhh he is soooo happy to see his little daughter again... may be he should thought of it  BEFORE.

A  Killing is never only the fault of the Victim and i really  kind of wonder how he made it  back to  Norway. Did he swim? and if  so which route did he take? Or may be walking? However, how to cross borders without a PP or Visa? Did the Norwegian Authorities in Thailand helped him with a PP? i mean the Norwegians do a lot of things since a couple of years not really confirm with international Law right?
I  dont worry, he will be safe in Norway, under European law,
Karma is a bltch and sooner or later...  to be honest,  i dont want to live with the guilt of murderer
