Hello,
I am looking for a dentist recommendation in Pattaya or Sri Racha area, that has good reputation and decent prices.
My insurance covers very badly treatments like root canal and crown.
The only place I have been is Phyathai hospital in Sri Racha and I found the treatment costly, so would anyone has recommendation about dental clinic in Pattaya or Sri Racha area ?
Thanks a lot in advance.

See the other hot springs thread on this forum which was started this month and has up to date information.
Sorry, but I did not find any other posts in this forum about hotsprings in Chiang Mai.
Can you tell me to which post you are referring to ?
Thanks in advance

Hello, I'm looking for a good hotspring recommendation around Chiang Mai, where we can actually bath and not just put foot in water and cook eggs like what I found online. San kampheng seems to be the most famous but the main bathing pool looks ugly. I found one called Pongkwao they looks nice.
Thanks in advance for your recommendations

Collenbourne Auction house
Thank you, this is the kind of place I was looking for, that looks true second hand.

Hello,
I am looking for a second hand shop that sell small wooden table to put my espresso machine.
I have found several warehouse type shops but they mostly sell new/used items at high price and I can tell it is not second hand items.
Does anyone have recommendations in Chonburi/Rayong province, or Bangkok ?
Thanks for your help.

Thank you, it is good to know that Queen Sirikit Naval hospital is a good hospital and that it cover everything in case of problem with the SSO card.

Several good public hospitals but Englush soeaking (except by the doctors and sometimes even them) very limited to none. Also very, very crowded and usually cannit arrange to have husband present for delivery or other opyions you might want.
For private hospitals Phyathai Sri Racha and Pattaya Memorial would be my recimmendations.
I am assuming your wife is not a Thai citizen?
Thank you for your recommendation. Yes, my wife is not Thai but Chinese.
Do you have an idea of the cost difference between Phyathai, Memorial hospital and Bangkok hospital Pattaya ?
Last month we had a blood test at Phyathai Sriracha of pre-pregnancy and paid nearly 6000THB just for this blood test. After asking why it was so expensive, they said it is quick result laboratory, or something like that.
We were not suspecting it to be so expensive so we didn't even bother ask for the price in the first place.

Hello,
I have the Thai social security card (SSO) and I need to choose a hospital.
The following hospital was automatically selected: Queen Sirikit Naval hospital in Sattahip.
Is it a good hospital ?
Are there any other hospitals that are recommended in Chonburi and Rayong province ?
Finally, are all costs covered if I go to this SSO hospital, without any limits ?
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
I am looking for a hospital recommendation in Chonburi or Rayong province for my wife to follow her pregnancy.
She has an insurance does does not cover completely pregnancy, and so we are looking for a hospital that does not charge so high money like Bangkok Pattaya, and where people can speak English.
I was told that Phyathai Sriracha may be a good option as private hospital.
What about Pattaya international hospital and Pattaya Memorial Hospital ?
Are there any good public hospitals as well ?
Thanks in advance.

You don't really need it.
It's an unnecessary additive.
Use 50/50 coconut oil/palm oil blocks available in many bakery supply shops.
Of just the straight palm oil blocks, add stearic acid if you want a harder end product.
That was my initial idea too: to find solid palm (palm stearin) oil that is cheap to produce and make the soap hard.
I went to few supermarkets, including Makro but did not find it.
Can you tell me one shop where I could find it ?

Hello,
I am looking for shea butter to make soap.
Does anyone have websites or relations to get some ?
The one I have found so far is https://buytropicalife.com (1200THB/kg)
Thanks

I am living in the Eastern seaboard industrial area, 1h away from Pattaya.
I am looking for a place to park my car whenever I want to take a long distance bus that starts from Pattaya.
If I want to leave my car at home, I need to take a taxi that cost 1400THB round trip from my home to Pattaya, quite costly ????

I can easily find imported avocados, but not Thai avocados, that's why I want to find a stable supplier.
It may be easy to find them in Chiang Mai, but not where I live.
If some of you know farmers in the north that can ship within Thailand, I would appreciate their phone numbers or LINE ID.

Hello,
I'm looking for websites to buy avocado produced in Thailand.
So far I have found only one website called orgboxthailand.com that sell them 59THB/piece.
Thanks

Hello,
I am looking for a place to park my car in Pattaya for few days when I go on holiday in other provinces.
Do you know good places that are safe enough for few days ?
I was thinking shopping malls, but I suppose that they forbid overnight parking.
Thanks a lot

I have used Transferwise to convert my Euro in France and RMB in China into THB in Thailand with very low fee. I also use it to pay my health insurance in USD. I remember having compared the different platforms fee few month ago, and Transferwise was always 1st for its low fee and good exchange rate (same as google).
I can't really tell if Western Union is better or not because I have never used it, but I would surely recommend you to have a look at Transferwise.

Hello,
I found a rate that seems quite interesting: 2%/year with 3 month maturity through a fund called "Advance Finance". Here is their website: http://www.advancefin.com/FUNDING/Funding-Interest-Rate.aspx#.XVpqrOuCvIU
Except that, after making some research, I found that the banks often in top ranking are:
- Thai credit bank: 2.15%/year with 12 month maturity
- Ayudhya bank: 1.9%/year with 6 month maturity
- CIMB bank: 1.95%-2%/year with 7 month maturity (promotion)
Which one would you recommend me to go with ?
Do you know other more interesting options ?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Hello,
I am looking for safe investments of my money in Thailand through deposit accounts from banks of funds.
Bangkok bank released a promotion with 1.5%/year for 9 months deposit, but doesn't seems to be open for foreigners.
I have found a product from "Advance Finance" that gives 2%/year for 3 month deposit: https://www.checkraka.com/price/fixed-account-2-739/แอ็ดวานซ์-บัญชีเงินฝากประจำทั่วไป-1445512/
Does anyone know this product or other better investments ?
Do you have Thai websites that talks about investments and compare products ? the one I found is this one: https://www.checkraka.com/price/saving-2-68/
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
