sitting in Battersea London at the moment....melting!

I'd recommend Hua Hin,its on the mainland about 3 hours drive from Bangkok, I've stayed at the Marriot many times its a really nice hotel right on the beach and the town is lively enough without being too touristy mainly middle class european guests when ive been there plus good pool and activities for your daughter plus has a spa on site.... enjoy!

Ad Makers in soi Lang Suan is good a bar/restaurant type place with live music..farang and thai mix clientele, Jack and Noi folk/rockband pretty good to eat your som tam and drink your beer to...

I believe Lesdunbar is right and that is the one you are talking about, remember seeing it m'self.

Liked 'Platform ', still trying to get through 'Jasmine Nights' ,like it so far, and Fieldings used to publish a guide book which was a great guide to the nightlife areas. Lent it to someone and never got it back!! cant find it in any book shops now!!!
