  1. Jealousy of the worst kind.

Can't keep their women happy and THEY keep complaining about how

the Farang's wife's farm is doing better than ours yada yada da da.

So take it out on those who do know how to make their businesses work.

And best way to run them off is take their land.. in theory.

Except the land no doubt is owned by the wives lock stock and barrel.

The husbands just consult and likely have a totally different job,

and INVEST in the wife's business to make HER more productive.

Odd... three times in a week or so Lao Po and I agree...

    Must be the eclipse! :)

Spot on! No more comment needed!!!

Comment is needed. Can of worms they're opening here. They missed out in their report about all the backhanders and taxable income coveniently witheld from all these deals. Farang being the greater contributer to tax and other outrageous price increases. Maybe if they concentrated on asking themselves why Farang contribute so much into land they can't own. Also, why their society is selling out on them. Including their women running off with other nationalities and their boys growing up as women. Let's watch them dig their own graves on this farmland!!!

  2. Again, their math does not stack up, nor is there much that can be done at this late stage.

It will simply improve with the passing of time.

Just want to add it would also help to treat us that have been living here for several years

and been spending Millions of Baht to support their economy not to treat us as second or 3rd

class citizens. My wife and family are lovely but really THE BOYS in BKK suck

SPOT ON! Working and living here 15 years you would think they would give me some right to being above second or 3rd

class citizens. But sadly, that will not happen under the present administration. My faith is now in my descendants, Eurasians kids, four to be precise, who may see the changes and be apart of what we all want. Those expats that truly "love" Thailand. We hear many comments from visitors, so called ex pats, saying they live in Thailand. Some of us who have truly lived in Thailand, will have their day. They certainly cannot sustain this present political xenophobic attitude. The Thai's that consider us as mobile atm's, let's hope they learn from what's happening now, how visitors conceive Thailand. We know it has been passed down from past generations that have seen two foreign wars here taking advantage of the situation. Mother's with abuse issues, being passed down to their daughters. Welcome to a big can of worms. Those same mixed up women, adult bodies, infant mentality, meeting mixed up farang. But change is going to come. Who would of thought that a "Geordie" would be premier and sit on the hot seat. If Thaksin wasn't such a huge topic, on all his business dealings, then Man City may still have a Thai business man still on the board and possibly a "geordie" former Etonian, former premier of Thailand. As a major shareholder of Newcastle United.

But let's look at this current situation they're now "reaping what they sowed"..........I love Thailand. Some of the people in it, I can live without!!!

  3. A no-shocker on the ring-leader's nationality... :o

Briton charged in Thailand for organising 'swinging' parties

BANGKOK, Feb 5, 2009 (AFP) - A British man was charged in Thailand Thursday for organising so-called 'swinging' parties during which couples swap sexual partners, tourist police said.

Christian Arthur Richards, 54, was arrested early Thursday along with six Thais and 16 foreigners including US, French, Indian, and Chinese citizens at one of the parties in a Bangkok hotel.

Tourist police commander Colonel Archayon Kraithong said Richards advertised the orgies on his website, and then charged 3,000 baht for couples and singles to participate.

"He is under interrogation, but has been charged with procurement and commercial sex advertisements, which could land him 10 years jail term or a fine of up to 20,000 baht," Archayon told AFP.

The 22 participants from Thailand, China, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, France, the United States and Australia were all released after paying fines of up to 1,000 baht, Archayon added.

Richards, who is married to a Thai woman, is alleged to have organised at least 100 swinging parties in Bangkok and the seamy resort town of Pattaya over the last three years.

Although prostitution is officially illegal in Thailand, the kingdom has a reputation for its sleazy bars and explicit sex shows, and the sex tourism industry here is believed to employ hundreds of thousands of Thais.

Archayon said there were no prostitutes at the swinging party.

    ==================================================

Perhaps a thread title change with the nationality of the organizer and the higher number of arrested is in order.... :D

Can you be more specific regarding your comment on Brits.

Are you really that naive that you think Brits are the main cause of the decay in this society. :D

If you ask most Thai girls/business people etc...what nationality they prefer there answer invariably is "English" ( All Thai's refer English as (Pu Dee Angrit) in most cases. And if you read this article most of the attendees were other nationalities.

What's your beef with Brits? This forum is about swingers, not the behaviour of a few bad examples.

  4. got the same problems with wife nr 1 and 2...

nr 1 (chinese) could not get even a visiting visa to my own country... even i proved enough money, job, signing papers, etc...

Dear thaibkk, Did you live in UK? If so go back to the UK and learn the queens English.

As for this subject UK visa's refused etc...If you're serious wait and get married let him get some experience as a chef and with that experience and security apply again.

Why waste money on immigration lawyers. Get married and apply the correct way if this is the man you feel you'd like to spend the rest of your life with.

GOOD LUCK to you both.........Who cares also what people think about your differences.

  5. "This is a priority case because it has damaged the reputation of Sukhothai and the entire country,"

Not because somebody is dead - so that's OK then.

Definitive isn’t it brother. In English this is saying they really only care when something affects them directly. The ole' saving face issue manifested like a trump card before a negative image can be created in the mind of a brain washed citizen. Given that one reporter cannot speak for a people as a whole. As well, this might not be a correct translation. Me and you just might be lost in translation and got them all wrong. Too bad drugs were not found at the scene or they just might be a little more feeling.

That poor little girl, If there is a God I hope she is taking care of the little one by removing her fear, torment, and pain. I hope everyone who reads about this takes a minute to think about how frightened, helpless, and alone she must have been in her last hour. And not thinking about their tourism, there image, what race she was, or that she was a tourist. She was some body’s neighbor, sister, and daughter that just wanted to take a bike ride to see something pretty down by the water. That is the tragedy not there image.

Well that's SPOT ON! My papa was a POW here in Thailand "fighting the Japanese imperial army. I grew up hearing hatred of the Japanese. But your comment, regarding her final hour "says it all" Thai's even have memories of the brutality inflicted by the Japanese in World War Two. But with the influx of "Tasty" Japanese porn floating around in Thailand I suspect, it was a sexual motive spurned on by some creeps fantasy.

Whatever, I have young daughters, this tragedy leaves behind a grieving family and a drop for the time being in visitors from Japan. I'm sure though, it won't stop the Jap geezers flocking to Thermae coffee shop!!!

  6. Well my grass is well green!!!

Watering in the day, just causes scorching. :D At night give it a good soak, I do recommend that you put top soil and some sand, on the brown patches, (soap if you have brown patches in yer shorts.) :D

Evenly spread it out and then add grass seeds. Bear in mind; that the seeds can cause an adverse affect on the grass, as they need plenty of water, as the chemical IN THE SEEDS burn the new grass.

Water every other day, and you will see some results, NORMALLY after the first week. Repeat this process for the first couple of months until it's lush green and you should be able to invite your neighbors round for a couple of cold ones! :o

Also, remember the grass isn't like what we westerners are used to. Sit on it only wearing your shorts and you will certainly realize the term, "ants in yer pants" :D

    Signed Percy Thrower!!!
