    Retired at 37, 44 now and loving life in Thailand. I love the culture, people and a zero concern lifestyle. My military days are over and except for the occasional Trump idiot i have to rap upside the head life here is great. The people have always been kind respectful and many are close friends. However, we speak their language, as well as Russian, Spanish and sadly *Uhmerican*.

   My only embarrassing times here are when we see westerners. Always disgusting clothes, nasty backpack, desperately needed haircut, flip flops and a belief in living off you tube.

   I used to think these nasties were just the 20 year olds who dont want to work but sadly I've found most to be 70 plus, still nasty and aimlessly flip flopping up and down the street everyday trying to figure out how they can continue to stay in a country they cant afford. At this moment, if you cant afford to go buy full insurance for your wife and yourself, buy a whole new wardrobe for 2 people, hop a flight anywhere in thailand, at least be under contract for 1 house although I believe 2 is more appropriate, you cannot afford to live here and do anything ever in your life but flip flop back and forth while digging pennies out of your fanny pack to buy a biscuit. Is living on the cheap any better when your just as poor here than where your from? 

   If you have the dough you will have no problems, but.......you have to work for it. Get off youtube, your just driving yourself deeper into depression because there's no future in blogging or taping yourself and expect to make a living. Save yourself the depression and face up to the fact you cannot afford to stay here no matter how bad you want to life will never be any better for you, especially when you need to buy new flip flops, pay for a shower and for gods sake get a haircut and buy some clean smelling clothes. You embarrass the heck out of those of us who must admit you are our countrymen. Go home and get that job you've avoided for so long, it really is the only way your going to have any kind of life. 

And no im not a newbie, just a guy who's got his sh*t together and doesnt need to worry or cry about the new visa rules.....because I planned ahead and now enjoy every moment of my life.         Say what you will, in the end I've got the perverbial world in the palm of my left hand and my right is overloaded with cash..... And a little ass when my wife wants some extra household playtime friends .")????
