  1. Great in theory but…. If they delete the biometric data after 48 hours, doesn’t that mean we’ll need to re-register every time we fly? If so, this will make check in queues slower, simply transferring the problem to a different part of the process? Also if the law requires deletion of data, does that also apply to the requirement to be photographed every time we arrive or leave? In which case it’s a useless requirement
  2. Does anyone have a link to a complete text of the Same Sex marriage law as approved by the Thai parliament? I want to read the details, especially anything that might relate to the treatment of Thais and their non-Thai husbands who have already registered marriages or CPs overseas. Please don’t speculate or guess. It’s kind but not helpful
  3. There may be further clarification / changes closer to end June when the formal rules are gazetted. However, based on news reports from Saturday, travellers may be asked to show either a vaccination certificate or recent Covid test results. If they haven’t got this proof then they may need to be tested at the airport. In other words, get a test done before you arrive or risk being held up at the airport for testing
  4. Just did my online 90 day report. The system requires a TM6 number so it’ll be interesting to see if they change that. However I’m not convinced the TM6 is actually cross-checked against anything in the system
