Why not?Dont wanna see more kids here. -
I'm planning to stay there for 1 year. I will be either filing the 90 day report or flying out and back in at 90 days. For this scenario do I need the TM 30?Immigration would need the TM30 if you should want to extend your visa. If you are just visiting Thailand (as a short-term tourist), then you do not need to bother. -
So if I fly out of the country 90 days after my initial arrival, and re-enter via my Non Imm O multi entry visa, instead of doing the extension at immigration, I don't need to do the TM30?Unless you need to do something at immigration there will be no need to worry about doing a TM30 report. -
TM 6 has my address as well as my Visa. Why need my address the 3rd time within 24 hours?TM.30, the wife's cousin should file it.
What did you fill out at the airport other than a TM.6 ? -
Ugh I have so many damn questions and no official source of info.
I'm flying into Bangkok from the US on a 1 year Non Imm O visa (my wife is Thai). (This is my first time visiting with a Visa.)
I will be staying at my wife's cousin condo.
Do I need to go to immigration office the next day after my arrival to file a TM 30? Or is it a TM 28 that I need to file?
(That's ridiculous if true since I would have filed all that at the airport just hours before.)

My wife (dual US and Thai citizen) and I (US citizen) will be staying at a condo that is rented by my wife's cousin. We got the cousin to help us find a condo and signed the lease under the cousin's name for us.
My understanding is that I being on a Non-immigrant O will need a TM30.
My question is who files the TM30? The landlord? My wife's cousin? Or Me?
And what info/docs is needed to file it?
Thanks! -

Depends on the office they report to. The landlord is definitely responsible, and your cousin could also be if the office consider him the Possessor of the property.
Do you think it would be sufficient if my cousin does it? So that the landlord can avoid the hassle?

My cousin rented a condo so that I can stay in it for a year. I'm on a Non Immigrant O Visa.
Who files the TM30? My cousin or the landlord?
Thanks for your help!!

Hi all,
I'm new here and could really use your help. I'm a US citizen and my wife is dual US and Thai citizen. We are planning to move to Bangkok and live there for a year or maybe more. I did some research online regarding the Visa situation for me but I'm still confused. My understanding is that:
1. Go to the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles and apply for a Non Immigrant O 90 day Visa.
2. Fly to Bangkok
3. Set up a Thai Bank Account and deposit 800k Baht
4. Wait for 70 days (more than 2 months from time the money is deposited into the bank account.
5. Go (some government place) to apply for a Marriage Visa. (How long will this take? What if my 90 days is expired and I don't yet have the marriage visa?)
Did I get the process right? I can't just apply for a Marriage Visa at the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles?
Anything specific I should watch out for during this whole process?
Thank you so much for your help!!
