often I meet people and when the subject comes up they tell me they do visa runs all the time...what a basis of life if u define your life is in Thailand...reminds me of all those asylum seekers in europe...no brains...no languagge...no chance..no money...no skills ..but still there....!...thais have a term...ding dong mak mak. and they dont want that anymore...its now military rule means the guy with the gun telling everybody and everybody comply with a f.....ing smile krapom...dont like it ? ok .. go home cause TH is not your home...if Laos or Cambodia filles with the visa runners I think they will do the same...

Its a bridge too far for me, I have put up with enough immigration, banking, licensing, vehicle, property ownership, med insurance, funds transfer red tape and mindless bureaucracy for foreigners.

 

I thought 23 years working here and the last three as a retiree who could more than adequately support oneself was enough but obviously not. Time to move where I am somewhat wanted at least.

everywhere in the world where i rented before i had  the electrical contract on my name .. show renting contract there u go ...in europe online takes two minutes ..in th i have yellow and pink id but cannot have electrical contract to my name is strange....

It is for oversee bank not for thailand.. i have yellow book and pink id card...these are in thai characters...they want utility bills to change address of my accounts...

how can i change the name of the water electricall bill...both are on my wife now...i want it on my name or both names...this seems to be difficult...any idea...i need it as proof of residency ...
