Just wondering if anyone can provide suggestions/recommendations for purchasing health insurance in Thailand?

Just wondering if my son and I, both US citizens, want to travel from Thailand to US without mother with us, do I need to have consent letter? Seems like we wouldn't have to since we're both US citizens going to US.

Anyone know how thorough the background check is for the Elite Visa? I have a bankruptcy from some years back.
