    No problems here:

Yesterday evening I ordered a Boya microphone so I can record myself picking bluegrass music, it just arrived at my door less than 24 hours later at 1515 hours

Yes, it is normally a good service, but when things go wrong in the system database don't expect too much assistance from Lazada Customer Care Department. They supposedly handed the issue over to the Technical Department and since then, nothing.

when logged in on the non responsive account can you get a response that it is empty when click on basket?  Just wonder if no access at all to basket or just not able to add things - might help them to troubleshoot if they care enough.  Big if I know.

I went down several avenues at their suggestion. It made no difference. The first time the problem occurred, there where some items in the basket. I emptied the basket and tried to add items and the issue was still there. One of the biggest issues is getting Lazada agents to understand the problem, each time I contact them about this issue I have to restart at square one. If I was closer to them and in possession of a mallet I could maybe explain things properly!

I'm a bit late to the party but I had a similar Lazada issue last year.  I could not "sign in" to my account via the normal sign-in page, it was non-responsive.  I had to go every time to the sign-up page then click "existing account".  Like the OP, I tried a lot of possible solutions with no joy.

Co-incidentally, a friend was moving back to the US.  He gave me his router which was newer and much better than mine.  Eventually, I noticed I no longer had the Lazada sign-in problem.

So, OP, perhaps not the computer at all.  Maybe something to do with your router.

I understand what you are saying, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I have created a new Lazada account on the same PC using the same router and everything is working as it should in the new account. Which suggests to me that the problem is within the Lazada data base.

It would better if they got this resolved.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree, but it seems they don't possess the ability/expertise to do just that. Instead, when the :hit-the-fan:they apply the "fix all" solution, which is the belief that if they ignore the problem for long enough or bury their heads further into the sand, then the problem no longer exists!  ????

If all else fails (implying that the problem is in Lazada's database), then you can always create a new email account for the purpose of creating a new Lazada account.

Yes, I have just created a new account and it works fine. I knew someone would eventually come up with a solution. Thank you very much. However, just for devilment I may continue bugging Lazada with the problem for a few days more, just for some harmless entertainment! ????

I have just had a play around and I have sussed it, the fault doesn't appear to be at Lazadas end but in your browser. I went into my browser and then settings, and then 'clear private data' after I cleared the data it working just fine.

But untill you get somebody that can confirm you will not lose other information I would hold fire.

And just to add that the posters that are being less than helpfull are not too smart themselves.????

I have tried 4 different browsers and 2 of those I have not used before, and all give the same error message.

Maybe the smartness of the phone can make up for the dumbness of the user?

Dumbness is only part of the problem, I also have fading eyesight and hearing. My PC is fine it has big buttons and lots of patience. ????

Have you tried your mobile phone to order, works for me?

I have already stated I don't possess a smart phone, only a non internet basic call and message phone. It would be pointless having a smart phone when I am a dumb user! ????

It happens to me too, it lets me put items into my cart, but then I get the message you get. The only way I can get round this is to then go to my mobile phone and log onto Lazada, it will then operate as normal.

I have tried every way possible, with or without vpn, it still won't work on any of my tablets.

Thanks, maybe that is why I have had no feedback from Lazada technical department. They obviously have no clue of how to fix it. However, I am still going to pursue it on a daily basis and drive them as crazy as they are driving me. I can view it for it's entertainment value.

    regards Worgeordie

I am not actually trying to buy the boots, I just used that shop to illustrate an example of the problem.

I've bought several items in the last few days with no issues.

The pic you pasted has some personal details visible, you may wish to delete it. (I always thought that place was the "Outer Reaches")

    Thanks for the input.

This may be irrelevant but I had this problem some time ago - but not with Lazada specifically.  Just could not put stuff into the cart.

Turned out that the MTU on my system was set too high.  I had to reduce from the default 1500 to 1488 and then everything worked.

May well not be your problem but you can Google for 'check MTU' or some similar phrase, and check and adjust as necessary.

Thanks, I will give it a try.

  13. I am not sure where this needs to be, if it is in the wrong section I am sure the Mods will move it. On Lazada, when I press the ‘Add to Cart’ button to make purchases, I get the error message, “Sorry, something went wrong on our side”, and nothing goes into the cart. This error occurs for any purchases I try to make and at any store on the Lazada platform.

I have contacted Lazada on 4 separate occasions and been told by their agent that they will escalate the issue to the correct dept. and they will contact me within 2 working days. They haven’t, so my guess is that they are unable to fix things.

For my side I have tried clearing Cache & Cookies, disabled the Ad Blocker and tried 4 different Browsers, all to no avail. Am I missing something? Has anyone else had this problem? I should add that this is a recent problem and I have had no techie type problems in the past, I have not installed anything on my PC recently. And that I do not use the app as I do not possess a smart phone. Can anybody make any suggestions as to what to do next? Thanks for any forthcoming assistance.

Could/Should I go to a Land crossing with a thai friend and my daughter and plead my case pay the fine and hope and pray they waive the ban.

The problem is that there is no consistency between the different entry/exit points, or between IO's. It's at best tricky. Good luck with whatever you try.
