I don't know of any agent that can open an account for a tourist in a bank other than BB

You need to use an agent on a tourist visa
They help only with Bangkok Bank

Has anyone managed to open a bank account on a tourist visa for the purpose of buying a condo?
I know, I know, Bangkok Bank opens accounts for tourists, but I'm talking about other banks.
I tried to do this at Kasikorn and SCB, but they gave me the usual WP cr*p, ignoring the fact that I'm buying a condo.

And these Russians have 90 days (albeit soon to be just 60) to go rancid.
They need it more than anyone

Thanks, but no thanks. As a privileged Russian citizen, I spend less than 20k per year on border runs. Unlimited land border entries.

They flip through the passport pages looking for a Visa or anything relevant to entry.
ALL entry / exit & Visa history is on Immigrations Online Database (since 2012).
A new passport number will not change anything - biometrics (Name / DOB / Nationality / Photo) will be tied previous passports, even with dual nationality.
From what I can tell, by default they don't see all the database history unless they have reasons to request that information.

Thai immigration will see his history on their screen regardless of whether he has a new passport or not, but being out of the country for 6 months means there's little chance of refusal.
That's why they flip through passport pages

I've been able to go for walks in the morning all the way up to early afternoon without getting wet. I have avoided the main water throwing areas in the afternoon and evening of course. This year is even more crazy because they throw water even after the midnight!

Yes, it is a debit card. Do you have a link to this information?
It's a word of mouth

I am amazed at how helpful Thai police can be when solving situations like that.
-
Btw, doesn't Schwab reimburse ATM fees? Why did you need cash advance in the first place?
-
I believe they stopped doing cash advance on debit cards. So maybe they told you the truth.

To be honest, a tuk tuk driver asked just some 30% more than the Grab fare, which is pretty fair (no pun intended). And I'm sure he could've gone down to 600 if she had been willing to negotiate.

Not exactly.
Most of the fleeing Russians would be OK with Putin meeting his goals.
They just don't want to be in the meat grinder.
There are a lot of Russian musicians, artists and other media figures who are openly against the war. But of course they had to give up the ability to live and work in Russia.

There is a huge resistance movement in Russia too. However, most of them were forced to leave Russia under the threat of persecution.

I wonder how much of the 1 million baht price is gold and how much the design. Gold can't be that expensive unless it's a super heavy and thick bracelet
Philippines is going to fill up
