AirAsia has a number, you just gotta Google it.

Security cameras and a couple pitbulls would've prevented all of this.
Seem to have a lot of money, but not enough to buy a safe...?

Um, then why was I fined yesterday for not notifying within 24 hours? And told that whenever I go to any province longer than 24 hours I have to notify my address or I will be fined, again.

They need to be taught bilingually, where they are taught science, maths or a couple important subjects in English. Just having a few English lessons a week is not enough. It needs to be 50/50 if you want good English speakers.
Howcome Scandinavians can speak English almost perfectly?

No smart native English speaker wants to teach in Thailand for 30,000 a month when they can get around 80,000+ a month in China with free accommodation and meals at the school.
Even in Vietnam people I know get 50,000 a month.
I personally have taught part-time online with no previous experience and got over 30,000 a month. Who would want to work full-time for that amount?

Passing out masks without wearing his own properly, without the mask being sealed in a bag and without wearing gloves. I wouldn't accept one from him either - don't know where he got them from or what he's been doing with them beforehand.

How many of you trust them scanning/checking people on arrival? It's the same way they scan you when entering some malls, or when going on the BTS, very loud beeps but they tell you to keep on walking - scanning machine is just for show.
A friend who's never been here asked me why Thailand hasn't done anything to stop the Chinese tourists coming, well it's just a quick equation.
No tourists, no one dies = no profit
Tourists, some people die = profit
Money has more value than people's lives.
Also, just saw a clip on Facebook of Chinese tourists refusing to pay 250 baht for getting their hair washed+cut (females). These are the tourists you need! They come with viruses and no money, only spend money on Chinese tours, Chinese hotels, Chinese restaurants... How much do the locals really make from Chinese?

A school director with an injured leg, policeman as a father and a teacher as a mother. Doubt it's a scapegoat, they could've easily chosen a washed up druggy ex-soldier whom would've had less connections.
More likely that he was trying to kill someone who was gonna ruin his life... Truth will come out eventually, this is just the first day.

Yeah, he had lots of debt. Clearly. A BMW and speedboat sit parked in his driveway. I'm in big teacher's debt, should I sell the 10 million baht worth of merchandise parked in my driveway? or should I go rob a random gold shop for a meager 500,000 baht? Let's knock off 5 people while I'm there just for kicks. You would have to be either delusional or have room temperature IQ to believe that this guy robbed the gold shop for money. Either this is a coverup or this was a hit made to look like a robbery. The only thing that makes sense is that the girl that he shot 3x was his side girlfriend that had suddenly become pregnant. But doubtful given how happy he looks in pictures taken the day after the murders. Most likely this guy is a scapegoat.
Where's that photo from? How does a school director of 43 students afford that? I looked on his Facebook and various news sites saw no photos of any vehicles like this.
Only saw a picture of his dad's house and it's a little wooden shack

I don't care what kind of sociopath you are, nobody kills 5 people then takes his wife out to dinner and plays a game of football and smiles for a bunch of pictures. The guy looks as if he doesn't have a care in the world in his pics the day after the murders. Anyone that committed such a crime would have left Thailand long ago. No chance they go back to their hometown and it's business as usual. And to be able to hold it all together after murdering 5 people???? Give me a break, even the most ruthless stone cold killers don't have that kind of cool. Even the Thais aren't buying this one. The man was a well-respected teacher in his community and also quite loaded. Had 5++ BMWs, a personal yacht, a decent looking wife...why on Earth would this guy rob a store for a meager 500,000 baht? The Beamer in his drive way is worth at least 3 million baht in Thailand. The yacht in his drive way is worth 20 million at least. Everyone knows that you can't become a director of a school without taking lots of bribes and also without being super nice. Hence, where all his wealth comes from. Teachers in Thailand are quite often stupid rich if they work for the government. Poor guy. The locals all know who the real killer is. Guy that lived in this village that was x-military, history of mental illness, and related to high-up government officials. This is all about saving face. I wonder how long it took the police to find a guy to frame. Despicable. Note to self: do not ever work at a shooting range while living in Thailand. Immediate red flag.
His BMW isn't worth cr*p it's old as hell. The supercar in some photos is a rental, he doesn't have a yacht.
He has an injury on his leg the same way the robber did. If he was really a scapegoat the police would've picked up some drug addict not the 'rich' man that you state.

At least they re not blaming Farang , like earlier story
Police aren't but locals are, I think people don't want to accept 'one of their own' could do this.
Though, the more information that comes out the more it shows it is a Thai.

As I said in a previous thread most Thai people on social media believe it is a foreigner not a Thai person due to his build and 'the way he walks', many people said Thai criminals or robbers would never do a crime like this...
Let's just hope the police aren't as silly as the general population and can catch the Thai criminal as quickly as possible.

Hi,
Currently residing in Lopburi, after the horrific shooting yesterday - I feel a bit shook as I frequent that mall. I was also disturbed to see on social media and other platforms that most people currently believe the culprit is a foreigner not a Thai person (downside of being able to read Thai) due to his physique and the way he walks... because Thai people can't be muscular, right?!
Anyway, is there any country in SEA that does not blame foreigners for almost every crime that happens? Or is there a way to unlearn Thai so I am not exposed to this nonsense?

In the comment section of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXR4ECfPPZE Thai people are now suspecting it was a foreigner - not a Thai person, because how could a Thai person do something so cruel?
As a foreigner who lives in Lopburi, I believe the chances that someone with military experience who could acquire a gun, motorbike, know the way around the shopping mall would be a foreigner instead of a Thai is close to impossible. Especially with the amount of THAI soldiers here.

Haven't read all comments on here so unsure if others have said this, but as a resident of Lopburi I believe he's probably military or ex-military.
There are military camps all over Lopburi, most men here are soldiers. The way the murderer shot and moved was professional - I don't believe he missed a shot.
But just evil, pure evil, you can Rob a gold shop without killing anyone... Just tell people to get down and fire a warning shot surely should be enough.
He spent more time killing than actually robbing, I believe he only took a handful of gold?

I wonder if the mother hesitated before saying "her son"
In Thai you can say just 'luuk ลูก' without being gender specific, same way with boyfriend and girlfriend (แฟน) I'm sure it was the media that translated it as son.

14 years for brutally murdering 5 people, works out to 2.8 years per murder. According to this, after his latest murder he should be out again within the next decade.

I went to Laos 2-3 years ago, every tourist attraction in Vientiane only had locals and 1-2 foreigners, same situation in Vang Vieng (minus blue lagoon 1), went again last week tourists were EVERYWHERE, by the hundreds. How can Laos be doing so well with tourism and Thai isn't? ????
On the bus overheard backpackers complaining how Thailand is expensive and how they'd rather go on an adventure in Vietnam, some even said they'd prefer to be in Laos...
I think Thailand is the country everyone's been to, it's not exotic anymore it doesn't impress or interest your friends like Vietnam, Cambodia or another country does.

Hi, is the form above up to date? Should the permanent address be my home country or in Thailand? I would like to print it off and do it all beforehand as I heard there is a huge queue.

Hi, thanks for the response. This kind of visa can only be obtained from Savannakhet? Thank you.

Hi, I would like to stop studying here at university and change to a marriage visa. What kind of paperwork would I need from my university? Or do I just need to leave the country?
I believe there is two options for the marriage visa? I would like the one where I would have to leave every 90 days, I believe this has no financial requirements? What kind of paperwork would I need for this? I have a little business in the UK but doesn't bring in enough to fulfill the 40k requirements and I need about 8 more months of saving for the 400k.
Really appreciate any answers, information and/or advice you could give me. Thank you!

Thailand to announce nationwide curfew starting Friday

Pointless, here, no one is following even the original rules and laws.
It seems nice making fancy new announcements and laws, but when there is no police or anyone to enforce it; who's going to do it?
