I was looking to upgrade my outdated PC as most of it was built in 2016, just recently replaced my old monitor with one of the 144hz ones which is nice to have. Also my GPU RX 480 suddenly is lagging and stuttering so also just ordered a powercolor Radeon 5700XT.

Next was looking at CPU's but taking a look at JIB website the Ryzen 5 3600 is 6,990 baht, wow a bit overpriced with the current US prices... On Amazon it is $166 (5,170 baht) so 1,800 baht cheaper... So this wouldnt be the first time I used Amazon as it is now a viable option to order even to Thailand... Bought a Razer Naga trinity from Amazon and ended up saving 1000 baht even with the shipping fees (not to mention i think i got 30 baht or something back from my customs fee deposit). With shipping + deposit fees it comes to $201 (6200 baht) so total you still save 700 baht or so ordering from America... I think now Amazon isnt bad for some products to order here, especially if they are smaller/lighterweight things.

Anyway maybe im nitpicking but noticed some things are a bit overpriced even keeping in mind were not a central hub for trading electronics... even with that in mind some you would think it would be cheaper to drive down the road or order something locally then order from across the world and still save money worth the wait.

Iam confused about this upgrade, I have had 3bb since I can remember. I changed to fiber package about 3 years ago the 1,290 baht package I figured with this I can get a faster speed for 990 or whatever it was but it says that HBO is included?

I used the 3bb APP and switched over 5 days ago, i confirmed on the app my service is now on the new package... I used this page on the app and just selected the new package:

Question is does this include the monomax + HBO go? Has anyone figured out how to set up the hbo go?

I feel like im getting mixed information, girlfriend is saying you cant travel to other provinces without medical papers... But this makes it sound like their just screening. GF's mom is with us and wants to go back home to Buriram so whats the deal with the inter province travelling is it restricted to just essential people or what? 

I just changed my plans with news of this, i was going to BR tomorrow morning for a wedding... I already thought it's a bad idea to have a wedding right now. Girlfriend insists on going but im staying home. At what point do these large gatherings become irresponsible? 

The thai way of thinking, i told her they banned large gatherings she said it wont be more then 50 people, Even worse we got news just today her cousin is seriously ill and on life support and plan to take her off soon already called the daughter to come from bangkok... So it will probably be a wedding and a Funeral in one trip for her family.. which basically double's your risk... These type of things have people coming from all over the country sometimes.

Also yes the cousins condition is from Alcohol consumption over a long period of time, she had kidney failure and is on life support. and not covid19 related.

I had plans to travel there tomorrow but girlfriend was telling me about they were closing the city or something. I was wondering if i will be affected or can even travel there. Translated by closing I am hoping it wasnt meant so literally if anyone has any insight let me know.

Watching what 'they' want, when 'they' choose to broadcast it is a thing of the past.

I tried staying away from torrents ever since I got hit with a DMCA notice a few years ago, was actually using a vpn and the vpn sent me the email basically gave me 3 strikes luckily on my 2nd strike i stopped with the torrents so they wouldnt suspend my service.. Seems HBO mostly they send out those DMCA notices. 

Also with the android boxes, I know you can get paid streaming services around but havent seen many with on demand to watch "said series"... If there are free ones their probably overloaded and slow buffering but what do i know I havent tried any in a long time.

So, it seems they make everything a pain in the ass to stream certain tv here.. I was looking into AIS TV as i just found out they had HBO then just seen in another thread they are dropping HBO channels in march so not even worth the bother.. Right now im already subscribed to netflix, Prime tv (the international version is pretty crappy) and sometimes ill get movies on Apple tv.

But missing a huge chunk of good new shows and old ones IE Sorpranos, The wire, Quarry etc... It's 2020 and you would think by now they would have something where people can legally watch certain major channels internationally without going through a bunch of hurdles. Sure I can find a site on the net to watch them but its usually lousy quality also would of been nice to have something Thai based (like AIS tv currently) with Thai subtitles so the gf can watch it as well. So just curious if anyone seen any other options out there.. BTW i had truevisions years ago and i hate that company... I had a box & satellite with them a few years box needed to be updated but couldn't be bothered and went about a year paying a bill without even watching it till i dropped it.

Okay, yes same thing here we lost a healthy kitten who went in for a routine spay, just ridiculous and unprofessional service at one on Soi siam they expect everyone to know everything about spaying an animal before going in not to mention they hand her back to us covered in urine. We did end up taking our other cat to the Boonsamphan animal hospital.. We have to wait now though blood test came back about her kidneys were at a high level.

Thanks, just curious why wouldnt you recommend any of these? I didnt realize the nern plub wan hospital is 24 hours that closer to me... But better to have an option then none at all... I was recommended the boonsamphan animal hospital for spaying which isnt that far from me, any thought on there if you have an experience? I am inclined now to avoid the soi siam animal hospitals.. But the one further up closer to the railroad isnt too bad.

Looking at old threads here im afraid some info might be outdated was wondering if people knew of current vets who are 24 hours in case of emergencies? Ideally around Darkside but if there's not any around pattaya would be good too. 

We had an unfortunate event the other day losing a kitten we got spayed, was some misunderstanding from the vet about bloodwork and thinking she may have had an underlying issue we werent aware of and lost her only a few hours after taking her home... we are taking her sister this upcoming week and we want to be prepared for everything this time along with doing bloodwork before hand and a checkup, but just in case itd be nice to have info on a vet who's open at night for emergencies or calls, thanks in advance.

I thought there was something in place where there was a limit to the interest rates for loans here? Or are they just not followed?

So, over a year ago the mum's gf and her nephew in Issan went to buy a motorbike with a loan, I didnt think much of it then because I have financed one motorbike here before and bought one straight up. I just been paying every month 2,400 assuming for a regular wave 110 which is usually 40-45k baht it would be about 18 months to pay off. 

I then inquire with the girlfriend to find out all the details how much balance is left on it, then after looking at the invoice we use to pay every month its GLPCL Grouplease PCL (never answers emails, call center doesnt even give straight answers but they said usually this type of loan would be 3 years.) He didnt even tell me about my account how much was left or anything he said he had to call another company.

So a motorbike that costs 44,000 baht would end up being 86,000 over 3 years, basically can buy 2 motorbikes for that price.. At this point would be better to just pay it off right away, but I have heard shady things about this company after looking at translated google reviews. My question is has anyone had any dealing with this loan company and also to let people know to avoid them and just settle with the big banks, which makes me think why her mom didnt finance with one of them anyway.. I basically knew all this stuff after the fact they bought it.

Update: problem is fixed if anyone else has the same issue you can call 3bb and ask them to set the router to bridged mode then you can setup your other router, was pretty easy actually only took 5 minutes.

Nevermind, I read around on the forums a bit more seems like I may have to call them and they can remotely set the router to bridged mode then I can try it that way.

Ive had the fibre optic 3bb for a few years now but recently im wanting to stream in home, but after talking with techs about the software i want to use they said my router is terrible for doing this and I have a lot of lag.

The issue is in the router configuration it doesnt seem to allow me to change the connection type, its been quite awhile so i cant remember all the steps either way there must be a workaround besides having to call 3bb and wait and get lucky to have a tech who even understands what your trying to do so was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I am using the GPon AN5506-04-F

if you look here there is no option to create a new or even delete or edit the existing connection. So not sure what I can do.
