Under no circumstances hand over /present anything other than your passport and arrival card, most certainly no money. Just act like any regular traveler would:anything out of the ordinary and you will only attract their attention. More often then not the IO will perfunctorily swipe your passport and stamp you in in a routine-like, half conscious manner, unless you raise a red flag by behaving conspicuously.

    Good luck with that !

My kid was one of the first Thai citizens born after May 22, 2014.
Since then I have been on NON O visas. A few weeks ago on the way back

from HCMC I was first time interviewed at the airport and got a crooked face

and a negative head shakes from a guy with a stamp.

I have a serious reason to come back, I certainly wouldn't fight for tourist visas

or go to school like some people do when there are so many other countries

    and possibilities .

So, thats how you look on people that comes to a foreign country and accept as well as abide the rules.

Yeah, go on! It´s much better to moan and complain in that little group of people that holds eachothers hand and belive they are many and strong. Just realize that you are only the few ones that are getting seen and heard in the great masses of other that do accept and not complain. As an estimation you probably belong to 2-3% of the foreigners in Thailand, and the rest do not concern themself with sinking to your level of constant complaining. In other words: Whatever you say, whatever you do it´s not going to make any change. That´s because you belong to an invisible and irrelevant percentual number of complainers.

I can't quite get my head around you commenting on something that you admit you have not seen but take individual comments from strangers as gospel !! Perhaps if you make some time in your obviously busy schedule and actually bother to watch it then you can comment with confidence, you can see the body language of the useless Thai immigration people. maybe even see the Thai woman address them (fairly angrily) in English & Thai and get a feel for the whole thing.

Your useless OP is tantamount to me dissing a new movie I haven't seen or a new music album or track I haven't listened, it's uninformed and useless.

    It's not worth watching .

Then there is the issue of denial of entry at Thai airports; the lack of reasonable explanation of why; the lack of civlity and   the IO's not being honest in their denials.

They can easily make a simple rule / law

90/180 days on tourist visas a year ...Or 3 days a year on tourist visas.
But they prefer chasing people like dogs.

The problem with this and similar post, is that we only have what the author writes. This undoubtedly is not the whole story. He didn't do things correctly and got caught. If he wants to come he must change his way. He's to blame for this, but I wouldn't say he's bad just naive.

Of course the problem is in the system in which one can choose a tourist visa
Or a visa / extention for married people with kids..
Which are basically also tourist visas ...only more expensive
