I am a volunteer nurse here in the Philippines. We are seeing many vaccinated persons becoming infected and admitted to the hospitals. The unvaccinared being admitted are 90% senior citizens and the 10% who are not seniors are those with existing comorbidities such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic respiratory syndrome, etc.  During the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918 there were no vaccines available or even antibiotics to treat secondary infections, but after two years the epidemic subsided and eventually ceased. It's not the vaccines that are slowing down infection and death rates. It is time. We are following the same time line of the 1918 epidemic.

I keep seeing the comment that America has poorly handled the current pandemic. The naysayers continue to focus on the number of deaths pitched against America's population count compared to a global population. And if we only considered the stats that are being reported by other nations it does seem that there is problem with our response the the pandemic. But living in many Asian nations has taught me one immutable truth: Other nations do not like to hear about America's thriving economy, fantastic infrastructure, quality medical technology, strong military, abundant resources, etc, etc, etc. Why? Because it reflects on their shortcomings. So they will make every effort to make themselves look better in the eyes of the world. 

As a missionary, I have been a part of medical missions throughout the globe. I have made, and retained, many friendships with local healthcare workers in numerous countries. In my communications with those friends, they continue to tell me that they have been instructed not to report every death that is Covid-19 related. And in our conversations, they have reminded me of the corruption that is prevalent in their countries and the impact it has on fair and honest reporting of the Covid-19 deaths. They believe, as I do also, that America's high numbers of reported deaths are due to having the honesty to tell the truth.

I have a missionary friend living in Wuhan who sent videos of the events occurring there. From his 20th story balcony he could see three of the many crematoriums in Wuhan. And when China was reporting a very low number of deaths, in a country that has a population of 1.6 billion people, my friend said that is impossible. He has witnessed the crematoriums operating 24 hours a day/7 days a week and with long lines of trucks waiting in the streets in front of those crematoriums; trucks he saw later unloading body bags. 

Many Asian countries, including the one I am currently visiting, are under reporting the number of deaths. Blinded by their misguided and radical nationalism...they don't want to be seen as second rate nations in the geopolitical scheme. 

From my friends still practicing in the medical field they are telling me they are seeing a reduction in the aggressiveness of the virus. People who have acquired the virus are overcoming the infection at an increasing rapid rate. Hopefully, the "Herd" immunity will lessen the impact and things will return to normal as before Covid-19. When have seen this trend in previous corona viruses.

I was wiping down the armrests, table tray and seatbelt buckle long before we ever heard about nCov 2019. Asians are well known for using their hand to clean themselves after defecating. Ecoli infection is highly dangerous and painful and can be fatal.

The mask is to be worn by those who are sick and limit the water droplets from their coughing and sneezing.

An airline physician recently reinforced this truth. As a former member of the medical community I have been telling the following to others for years.

Wearing a surgical face mask does not prevent any virus from entering your respiratory system. First, the virus is small enough to penetrate the fibers of any mask that you buy from a pharmacy. Second, none of the masks you buy provide an air tight seal around your nose and mouth.

But "IF" you are coughing and sneezing, then by all means...wear a mask. That is what surgical masks were designed to do.

A surgeon wears the mask to protect you in case he or she coughs or sneezes during surgery. Surgeons don't wear a mask to protect themselves. They do sometimes wear a face shield to protect against blood or bodily fluids from splashing into their eyes.

Wearing a mask, if you are not sick, can actually make you sick.

Exhaling warm, moist air into the mask creates a perfect environment for bacterial growth. Your hands touch door handles, escalator hand rails, elevator buttons and host of other germ laden items during the course of your day. Then you unconsciously touch your face or nose because of an itch. In the process you also touch your face mask. Now you have transferred those germs to a warm, moist environment where they can grow and you will be inhaling them into your respiratory tract.

Stop listening to the medical supply industry that just wants to sell their products or to so-called health experts who don't have a clue about who should actually be wearing a mask.

Their New Year gift to you is the virus that will usher in a Zombie Apocalypse because it is a global pandemic. Millions will be infected. So you hotel, restaurant, mall and tour owners just keep inviting them to come...well, at least until your families start dying from the Wuhan virus.

In just a few short weeks China moved from locking down Wuhan were the virus originated to now locking down 4 more cities. That fact alone should send a wake up call to the powers that be. Reports coming from China's news media are sketchy because they are controlled by the Communist Party. China doesn't report the truth because they are concerned about their status in the global community. I mean, who wants to be remembered for creating a global viral outbreak or for eating rats, bats, dogs, snakes, monkeys and badgers...which are openly sold and consumed in many Chinese markets.
