The world is not always what it seems. Anyone who's travelled could tell you that. This globe is filled with paradoxes and contradictions, with things that may or may not be real, with people who stretch the truth or attempt to deceive, with alternative facts and fake news.

Real tourists who take photos like the two shown proves the reality of the problem and facts. Bars, beaches, restaurants 90% empty, only the 7/11s are full with tourists.

If these highly qualified educated people were doing their job correctly of sustainable tourism, and offering the blame game, that's just sad. Tourism has always been one of the attractive and interesting kinds of time spending for millions of people coming here over the decades, so these ranking people should go abroad and spend time in other countries and see what other means are available to Thailand, other than sitting in meetings arranging meeting on those meeting to conclude that the problem is the world economy. Forward thinking brain process does not happen here, just a sticking plaster just to let others think they are so on the mark with global issues. Funny individuals. 

I am planning on going to Savannakhet to get a new 1 year multiple entry non visa O on my Filipino Wife's NON-B and work permit. All paperwork and documents are done, and all above board. My question is, there have been on other discussions, quoting, 1 year multiple entry non-O are NOT now being issued, only 90 day, and was wondering if this applies for Savannakhet. I am new to this forum and would appreciate any current real information on this issue. Thank you.
