To apply based upon being the parent of a Thai you must be the legal father of your child by way of marriage or legitimization of your parenthood.

You will need 400k baht in a Thai bank or proof of 40k baht income to apply for the one year extension. For marriage the 400k baht will have to be in the bank for 2 months.

What is the process for legitimisation is it not sufficient to be listed on the birth certificate / tabien ban etc? Thanks

Any more context. You got a second 30 day extension, right? With embassy letter or without? Which IO? Thanks for feedback.

My experience getting a visa waiver extension was straightforward. I got there early with my wife and young son (to avoid traffic on the way, as well as to get an early number), but when I lined up to get a number, they would not give me one because they said those with young children are first to go in at 8:30. (Cool, but best to wait by the door a few minutes before--around 8:15.) A very pleasant surprise, indeed. Once they let you inside (before those with numbers go in), you walk through the first room to the next and get your number at the desk. Others have posted about the visa waiver exemption extension process in detail, but I never saw the "those with children" go first info posted. I realize this does not help avoid the virus, but being among the first in, can mean you're one of the first out (if you did your homework and filled out your forms correctly in advance, etc.--They have a team of helpers in front of the extension section who screen and review your application forms to make sure they are complete, and that you have all the necessary photocopies, pics, etc.). I was not asked about the TM30 or onward tickets. Hope it works out well for you.

Thai immigration want the original letter , not a downloaded and printed letter , thats what I "really" posted that

There is a post on facebook, ostensibly, from immigration rep. suggesting they want a screen capture of email header in lieu of the original document (which will be stamped, presumably) as proof of legit addresse.

I like  the last point. Tell the truth...hmmm

There was a pretty long segment on one of the news channels a few days ago, dedicated to chastising the guy who returned from Hokkaido, Japan. Featuring Dr. at the studio who was very vocal about the problem of people not telling the truth - and numerous experts phoning in. The message:  if you don't tell us you have been to  *Japan* we can't help you! What are we supposed to do etc.

What is the point of your post.

The graph clearly shows a non- linear increase in cases under investigation. That is to be expected as testing ramps up. It does not infer that infections have increased non- linearly. It sometimes helps to read the axis description.

I've heard others cite this graph to support the claim that Thailand's COVID19 case numbers appear artificially low due to not being specifically identified as such - i.e not being distinguished from cases of  'viral pneumonia' under investigation. The graph doesn't seem to come from the website linked, so I wondered whether there was another source, leading people to this supposition.

If there is a way to have blood donated in another city/town then please let everyone know. There was a good response not so long ago in Chiang mai for O neg.

Second that. Also, would a hospital waive the normal requirements for a direct donation? UK citizens still cannot donate blood over here.
