Have you guys found more info ? From what I understand having a Thai driving license is sufficient but I have no idea about car insurance. It would be great to hear from someone having done this recently and know exactly what to expect. -

@patoss Hi, I'm planning to do the same in September, driving all the way from Chiang Mai to Siem Reap. Stay for a month and back. Did you manage to go through ? How the process ?
