This is a strangely refreshing channel to watch. An Aussie Expat in Thailand struggling through life. Down to earth and natural.

I live south of Bangkok and the nutty farangs have got nuttier due to drinking way too much booze over the period. The expats that have kept busy whether work wise or via a hobby carry on as normal.

Yes this is barbaric behavior but the Thai's are not alone. The Premier of the State of Victoria in 1st world Australia (whaaaaat), locked up 3,000 people, mostly immigrants, in apartment blocks, with no notice, for up to two weeks.

Maybe opening up and a bit of Covid is a potential great distractor from other events/needs?
Good point!

Not a good time to open now I don’t think! About to go to war with protesters again, just saying.

How sad. The initial impact didn’t seem overly fatal. The bus gets hit and lurches sideways. But then it rolled over. Looking at the photos and video, it appears when the bus rolled over, the train/containers then peeled the top off the bus passenger cabin and that’s where all the death occurred. Tragic!

OP I think you need to make direct contact with the one stop center at Chamchuri Square instead of asking visa agents. It may be a recent change they do not know about.
HR Staff here are heading that way Monday or Tuesday so hopefully I'll get an answer.

I have never heard of Chanburi (Chonburi?) Square, is there an immigration office there?
Since you do know and you knew that you were registered there and this has been confirmed by the IO at CW, why do you not go there?
All the Visa Agents are saying I can’t do it at Chamchuri Square and the Govt Website says, as confirmed by U. Joe, that it’s for BOI etc. I am just an employee!

I think he meant the one stop center a Chamchuri Square in Bangkok for BOI companies and others that are authorized to get work permits and extensions at.
Yes Ubonjoe, apologies for spelling mistake.

6 weeks ago, I applied for a Certificate of Residence at Counter B, Building B, Division 1 Chaeng Wattana. The certificate arrived in EMS 3 weeks later. Recently I obtained a new passport and my visa/arrival/extension stamps were transferred to the new passport at Chanburi Square by my companies Agent. Today I returned to Chaeng Wattana to obtain another Certificate of Residence. The same IMO Lady sitting behind the desk. I was ticket number 5 and called immediately at 0830 am (after waiting there since 0600 am). The Lady IMO looked at my passport and told me to go to Chanburi Square because that was where my stamps were transferred. My Company HR have spoken to 3 different Visa Agents today and they all said I can only do it at Chaeng Wattana. Any ideas????????????
Inter Provincial Travel
in COVID-19 Coronavirus

Good Evening,
Can some one direct me to a 'one stop' site where I can see the current requirements for interprovincial travel. Including to Bangkok, chiang Mai etc from outlying provinces.
