Yea.. i don't think the advice is good. It should be find a girl that is not with you for your money or find a girl that actually likes spending time with yuou.

I mean if you base a relationship on money you attract the wrong kind and some of those are evil like this woman and will get you killed.

I would say this happens rarely but it does. But its all about selecting the right girl.

The advice is not meant as a revealing tool to know if your partner is faithful, it's meant not to give motive as a security measure.  Would you rather take the risk?

I agree with you when it comes to selecting the right girl, but I failed to know how, and where to find one, if they ever exist.

I wish you Good Luck, Sir! Please be careful about the bombs and all insurgents.

Regardless of your good intention and facts, I think such statement be kept away from public as many people might interpret it differently. ????

  3. I certainly verify this statement as I have noticed it personally.  When I had my old split air-conditioning unit, my average monthly bill was about THB 4,000.  This was recorded as an average for a period of 2 years.

Once I replaced it with a new "Carrier" that is even bigger in capacity and fitted with inverter, I was shocked to see my monthly bill hardly goes over THB 2,000.  It has been almost a year since I replaced it.

Definitely worth it.  By the way, I live in Bangkok, just in case.

I want to go back to visit my family in the UK but am dreading returning to Thailand.

It's been over three years now and my young grandchildren hardly recognise who I am .

    But coming back to this!!!

I'll just have to wait a bit longer, I had planned for later next month but articles like this scare the living daylights out of me..

    Very informative article though

I share your concern as my case is almost the same as yours. Been here since 8th December 2019 and haven't seen my family or grandchildren since. I was also planning to travel sometime next month but now, I think I must wait for a clear picture.

  5. I am not an expert on this, but I came across such problems and I remember some people mentioning that one of the following solutions worked for them.  Please make sure before you attempt any as I take no responsibility if anything happens;

1- Press and hold the power button for not less than 10 seconds and see if it works.  If it doesn't, then,

2- repeatedly press and release the power button multiple times and see if it works. or

as a last attempt. disconnect the battery to reset the unit.  This requires you to to get into the inside of the unit to be able to disconnect the battery and reconnect after a minute or so.

I believe it is a common problem that is triggered by updating the software.

    I hope this helps

  6. If the problem is in one particular location whereas other locations are not affected, I suggest that you conduct a full check on your wiring and components at the affected location to identify the cause which could be anything from loose connections to harmonics build-up.  It is better to identify, fix, and treat the cause, rather than deal with the damage it creates.

The story doesn't explain how she ended up with her lower clothes removed. Did he rape her (before or after killing her) or was there someone else to do that, with him or later? This can't be all there is to the story. Something doesn't sound right here.

What could be the motive for her alleged killer? Was it for fun or what?

Well, forget about that original direct registration on the site. I did that too with no contact ever.

Now it's all about the links.

Check that page often and eventually you'll see information for registration at one or more of the hospitals.

Guess what, shortly after my last reply, I received an email telling me my appointment was on 27 July and that I would receive a confirmation SMS in my mobile the day before, which I did.  It was at Bangsue Grand station in Bangkok, On 27 July, I headed to the location which was packed, but staff were very efficient and I managed to get my first AstraZeneca jab and walk out in 90 minutes.  My schedule for the second shot is in mid October.

By the way, I asked the staff who was registering my details if it's open for expatriates to walk in if they are from other provinces, and he said they can. I didn't verify his answer though, but vaccines are going fast.

    Don't give up!

I'm sure there will be multiple chances for a booking from this site during July / August.

    Check it constantly.

Appreciate your encouragement Jingthing, I am registered with it from the first time it came out, and registered again after claims that it got busted.  In fact, i was registered with the site that was before it, in all cases, I could not manage to get a date.

What's strange was at one point, the site offered only two Hospitals in Bangkok.  I succeeded in registering with Samitivej Hospital where they sent me emails requesting additional details and a copy of my passport, which I did.  A couple of days back, I contacted them to ask of any update, and they answered me saying no updates available.

I don't mind if I get it or not, what I mind is being denied the freedom to live normal because I am not vaccinated.

  10. You are one of the lucky ones.  I am over 60, living in Bangkok with Hypertension, Diabetes type 2, and Cardiac patient with a stint.  I have been chasing all possible sources that offer the vaccine in Thailand and in my own country since last year.  I have registered in a number of Hospitals, health clinics and lately, the Ministry of Public Health, and until this minute, I don't have any booking date, nor any confirmation.  On contacting the places I booked to check, the answer is the same "there is no update and we will contact you when there is". I said it before, I give up.  On top of all of this, one of my diabetes medications is out of stock in the entire country and details of a substitute is hard to get.

The condo management can only charge late fees if payment is over 3 months.

In my case, bill is issued on the first day of each calendar month and a grace period of 10 days are given.  A 10% of bill total is imposed if payment is not done within 10 days from bill issue date.

Grab a calender if you are forgetful & mark it so you are not late all the time

    I have to

I hardly miss paying my bills on time, when it happens, it's because of one thing or another that is out of my control.  By the way, I keep records of all important transactions that includes my bills.  Thanks for the advise anyhow.

Depends on your agreement you signed and the date you get the bill and what date it is suppose to be paid by.

A bank we are paying back charges extra on the next bill if a bill is paid after 5 days.

It's a bit complicated as the condo is owned by a local individual that I barely met (once in 3 years).  Condo rent is paid by bank transfer, and so is the utility and Telecommunications.  Only the water and other services bill is paid to building management and no mention in the contract about this issue nor was I given a specific date for the issue date and the grace period.  All was verbally informed upon enquiry.

I am just curious if this is normal as I have learnt not to complain and accept anything no matter how odd it may seem to avoid escalations. Not long ago, I had to pay a fine because my landlord refused to go to immigration, and another fine because my 90 day reporting was overdue by one month as my passport was in the process of renewal that took over 4 months.  Even I was communicating with immigration almost daily about it, and despite having an official letter from my Embassy stating reason for the delay, immigration were not interested on anything other than paying THB2,000 fine.

It used to irritate me at the beginning,  but I got over it now. I just hope I don't forget to switch back to normal once I go back home. ????????

  14. It's nothing else but a big joke.  Every single day of the past couple of months, I have tried many different approaches, and faced dead ends.  It doesn't matter what App or method you use, the result so far has been unsuccessful due to one reason or another.  Up until yesterday, I was unable to proceed beyond selecting a vaccine and a date as the calendar is all greyed out for months.  Today, I was excited to see there were three available slots on 1, 2, & 3 July and even showed a green check mark but once I clicked on the BOOK button, a message in red popped up saying they are fully booked or vaccine not available.  No matter what time, what date, or what vaccine I tried with, the same messages appeared.  I told myself not to bother, but as I promised others I shall let them know if there is a way, I tried once more.????????????
