I never do any TM30. I don't want to live like a scared farangs whose all-day is spent on thinking about TM-30, 90-day report, and retirement extension.

Pasport of most countries don't have any proof of residence. For US passport, they advise you to write down the address on the third page with personal data and address using a pencil in case you need to change it in the future.

Nothing happens. I have never reported within 24 hours or within 600 hours of coming. I am very adamant about not reporting when I come back from a foreign/local trip. My address stays the same. Why should I report? I don't have anythin to lose by not repporting. What are they going to do? Fine me 2000? Just $75 dollar? That is my 30 min incomes when I sleep. Don't care.

Only sensible solution is to go for a HSA account coupled with a catastrophic insurance. A deposit of atleast 50K in an HSA account with an out of pocket expense of at least 50K and a catastrophic insurance of at least one million. No outpatient BS. Leave to patients if they want to go to government hospital or Bangramung.

So, it is the employers who are responsible for providing works to people who don't have work permits.

Re-entry permit is possible on any visa, including visa exempt. Its validity is your original "Permitted to day" date and the date will written on your reentry permit.

You have to credit to people with far higher intelligence but unfortunately born in a poor country to understand the true intent of a farang's actions. All ed visas from a language schools are scams. Who goes to Thailand to learn French? There are hundreds of schools in the USA to learn French, including community colleges.

How did Issan lawyers petition help? I don't think Thai immigration is going to listen to any petition from foreigners. They would do what they thing is the best and benefits them the most. Thailand does not need foreigners to retire here. Foreigners need Thailand because desperate farangs are unable to retire in their home country with their meager incomes.

Don't worry, it's only a 4000 baht fine, a stamp in your passport and a note in the immigration system!
And most probably a permanent ban for Thai Elite. If arrested, jailed in Thai gulag. And then black listed for one year.

Need to do the TM30, but the landlord of my condo says they don't have a copy of the housebook and have forgotten the house ID number.
Is it possible to still do the TM30 without these? Just need an answer to this, not 20 questions about why they don't have it. Thanks
Some tips.
1. When you rent a condo from somebody. a) Make sure the condo is owned by the person who is renting you (or his/her agent).
2. When you rent a condo from somebody make sure the ID (Thai or passport with a valid entry ) matches with what is printed in the Owner's book.
You can abandon the place now and move to decent condo and make sure all those documents are presented to you before you sign the contract.

I called my trusted friend Grace,, the agent of agents, and she told me no insurance required for extension. What the immigration has done is that they left it to the IOs and individual offices to determine what they would like to do. Give 15K agent fee or ever increasing yearly fee starting from 50K to get your useless insurance. The choice is yours. Or just leave the country and enter again with a tourist visa and then convert to Non-O and then extension. Just beat them in their own game.

Have used agents multiple times without any issue.
