There is a 7 day grace period right? My 90 day is due today, it has been getting rejected but I since looked at this thread and especially the post above - with the search function has the input a little different from what I have been submitting. So tried again hoping I don't need to go in yet?

Yep am legal father. Had him overseas before we got married. I've left the extension quite late (Due 19th) and was thinking which way I should go. I extended last year with child. Unfortunately I can't get a school letter on time. With marriage extension I still need to get update KR2. Income I am doing through Embassy letter

Hi
Can someone please confirm whether a letter from child's school is required to extend this way?
(Edit - CW Office - Also just saw an old thread that it is required)
Can't manage to get the letter in time.. You think they would accept tuition receipts?
Thanks

I got rejected twice. first time I thought maybe I didn't put my full name but nope. Now it's passed my 90 days
-
Late reported last time around so went in paid the 2000. Tryna do online/app now with no luck so another trip there again sometime this week..
-
So.. up to a max fine of 5000? Would this be a situation that it becomes 5000? lol
NVM just saw details on immigration site sounds like itll be 2000
-
You'd think that they would give you a friendly reminder when you go do your extension as it was pretty much the day before I had to make the 90 days.. lol

A extension is not a equal to doing a 90 day report unless immigration does a new report and puts the receipt for it in your passport.
Oh. f....
So I had to renew my extension AND do a 90 day report... Sh*t ok I really didn't know that lol

The receipt (which should be attached to your passport) will always have your next reporting date stamped on it. So you indeed do need to report and will likely have to pay a 2,000 baht fine for being late.
Right ok I think I know the receipt your talking about but also I thought the application of extension is basically the notification (Don't think I got the receipt after getting the stamp? As under the stamp it just says to make the notification in 90 days) Normally keep everything visa in the same bag.

Extensions have nothing to do with 90 day reporting in Bangkok once past the first one. You have to make report on whatever your TM47 receipt says (up to six days late allowed in person).
Oh.
So my last notification was around November last year.. then I redid my non-o 1 year on february - and got the stamp on 24 March.
It says in the TM7 receipt? lol
-
So my last extension was on 24th March. Just wanted to confirm I have to go into MTT tomorrow latest?
-
Just tried reporting online and didn't work. Tried through the app and got the message that I've overstayed 114 days (Seems my last extension in Feb was not updated)

Oly if you are applying for a extension of stay based upon being the parent of a Thai at many offices. Some offices will allow 400k baht it you have a Thai child an applying based upon marriage.
Maybe an officer that did not know it was still allowed. I think you do a statutory declaration at the NZ embassy.
Yeah I will be doing it at CW.
I got exactly that, the stat dec. Didn't accept... I was so <deleted>.
But yeah .. is the multiple transfers every week instead of once a month okay?

400,000 in a Thai bank for 2 months or 40,000 monthly income.
Immigration will want to see 40,000 entering your bank every month from abroad.
UPDATE: As you are from NZ you should be able to get a letter from your Embassy stating your monthly income.
There would then be no need for the bank transfer proof.
Really? I read somewhere the 400,000 doesn't need to be 2 months if I have a child too??
Also.. I did exactly that last year with the letter from embassy. They didn't accept it

Hi,
First of all, sorry to make a new thread. I have looked through the first 7 pages to see if it's been answered. I somewhat have some same questions.
Anyway. My first 1 year extension is set to run out end of next month. When I got this the first time, I couldn't do the 40k per month option (I had to go to Laos and restart) And after, I had someone lend me the money. This time around I am hoping to go the 40k route but I am a little uncertain whether I could?
I also read on here that If I had the kid (and I also think I saw this on their website) that the 400K doesn't have to be seasoned for 2 months yes? (This will ultimately be a back up option)
So, I use Bangkok Bank and Transferwise..
However, I do not transfer once monthly but more like every 1-2 weeks the last 12 months... Unfortunately.. maybe the first month after I first got approved the one year. I think I was slightly under the 40K that month, but had a lot more than enough come in the following month (like a few days after)
If we considered all transactions the past 12 months, then the average would probably easily be over 55K a month..
Also, my income is mostly from a share of savings from my family, and some from a government benefit (I am from New Zealand btw) Does this sound like a problem?
How does it look for me?
Much appreciated

As reported by others that did not make a report during the amnesty I went to MTT Friday and made the report. Was not asked about TM 30 but have done several. They put a red stamp stating I did this report late due to COVID 19 and no fine. There was a huge crowd and it took several hours to get the report done. No mention of when this process will be available past August.
Ahhh.. So i'm going in tomorrow for what is my first report as it supposed to be during the amnesty - What exactly do I need to bring? Thanks

Mask - passport - receipt for previous report - tm.47 filled out and signed for this report (or fill out at MTT in waiting area).
Ok great thanks. My first report was during the period so yeah..
-
Ok so I'm going to go into MTT this week for 90days. What do I need to bring with me? Thanks

If you report to BKK Immigration, had a report due during the amnesty period and didn't file one then, then BKK Immigration right now will only accept in person filings at Muang Thong Thani for your next report.
For IOs other than BKK, dunno if they're following the same policy.
Damn it! That's like an extra 17km further than CW for me
Thanks

Are we allowed to do a mail in for those that had it due during the amnesty period? What is required to mail in?
Thanks
-
Hi
So I also needed to do my 90 day reporting during the period where we didn't have to and I'm pretty sure I'm locked out of online reporting too after trying earlier this month
Do I have to go in person or can I do a mail in?
-
I’m at the CW results counter. How long it usually take?
