Just a follow on from my previous post.
I went to Dr Somboons clinic in Ao nang when I first had the problem. He recommended a certain Dr at Krabi State Hospital, unfortunately I cannot remember his name. It may be worthwhile visiting Dr Somboon and asking him for a recommendation.

I had a hernia operation in Krabi hospital about 11 yrs ago, normal procedure. I had no problems cost in a private ward 11,000bht.
A friend of mine also had the same procedure in the same hospital, again no problem.
My best friend in California had the micro procedure for a hernia, cost his insurance a small fortune. Had lots of problems afterwards. -

Many Brits return to live in the U.K with a Thai wife. However their divorce rate is quite high. Some Thais can not adjust to life in the U.K. while others seem to change their thoughts on life and ideas, leading to friction.

Bell did not invent the telephone, it was the Italian Meucci.
“In 2002, the US House of Representatives accepted that Meucci’s work was so important that it could have been enough to prevent Bell getting a patent. Over the years, Bell’s right to any credit has been challenged by evidence that he plagiarised key parts of his design.”

Invention of the telephone - Wikipedia
The term 'Give me a bell' likely came from the noise of the bell on the phone rather than due to Mr Bell.
Life in both places can work well if you are a happy person willing to work a bit.

Very few tourist, but unsurprisingly the roads are still clogged up with parked cars and motorcycles. In fact the best way to describe Ao- Nang is that it’s just one large car park.

We moved the complete house contents from Krabi to Rayong.
My wife spoke to a few lorry drivers in Krabi, one finally gave her a number for a driver who would be returning up north in a weeks time. We filled the complete truck, not expensive.

Where do you get "a couple of million" illegals from? The illegals are most likely to be refugees, other foreigners are probably staying legally on some sort of visa.
How many refugees are there in the UK?
According to UNHCR statistics, at the end of 2019 there were 133,094 refugees, 61,968 pending asylum cases and 161 stateless persons in the UK. The vast majority of refugees – 4 out of 5 – stay in their region of displacement, and consequently are hosted by developing countries. Turkey now hosts the highest number of refugees with 3.6 million, followed by Pakistan with 1.4 million.
Do you honestly think that they apprehend and therefore know, the exact No of illegal immigrants entering the country.

No problem! Don´t take the rules then, and see how good that works. Good Luck!
Yet we've managed to vaccinate over 15 million, this in itself has shown a fantastic benefit for leaving the E.u. Just think about it, we could have remained in the inefficient bureaucracy of the E.u and probably vaccinated Maybe 1 million.

Over 15million,thank god were out of the EU, otherwise the figure would have been nearer 1million.

As a person who now lives in the U.K. i am very thankful that my fellow countrymen voted to leave the undemocratic E.u
No more so then when I see how many Brits have already received the Corvid19 vaccine, compared to how few citizens of the E.u. have received it.
Is it any wonder that more and more Europeans are looking to exit

Well it would seem the remainers were right all along. We still have a few hours before we are fully out of the E.u. and as the remainers predicted people are already starting to die on the streets through starvation, added to this the sky is falling in. Yet for some strange reason the populace are overjoyed.

Living in the UK, I find your statement ridicules. Many, many of the younger generation, democratically voted for the U.K to leave the E.U. Unfortunately as we see on this thread, a few diehards brainwashed fools, refuse to accept the will of the people.

And there's me thinking the the majority of the British media are pro EU. While the majority of the electorate.as shown in repeated elections are anti E.U.

This has hardly started, it's the prelude. I listened to Prof. David Olusoga tonight on Newsnight tonight, he was saying how the under 25s were studying political books during the lockdown and forming new ideas for change. A lot of the people protesting black and white either at the demos or online are forming ideas that won't go away easily.
Studying or being brainwashed.

You'll be telling us next.that at the end of the day,the protesters split into two groups. One group went off to the local hospital, where in the Corvid ward, they continued their protest, while refusing to wear ppl.
The other group headed to a local care home, where they put in a shift to help those who are having to deal with the effects of this none existant virus.

The government keeps saying they have continually followed the advice given by the top scientists. And maybe that has been the problem, especially as they have accepted the recommendations of a leading Oxford don, by the name of Ferguson. Who predicted that if the government did not accept his predictions, there would be 500,00 deaths in the U.K
He has now had to resign, following the news that he has been breaking the lockdown in order to visit his married girlfried.
She it turns out is a very left wing agitator, who has been very critical of Boris Johnson determination to lead the U.K. out of the E.U.
Let's just waite and see want else comes to light.

Is it me or am I imagining, that most of the people on this thread criticising Boris Johnson, are the same people who over the last few years have been opposed to the democratic will of the British people to leave the EU. Their numbers also seem to include a high % of non Brits.

I would like to know why Taxi fairs seem to be higher in HuaHin than elsewhere in Thailand. Any idea?
