Colleague will relocate to Thailand from New Zealand. Basis of his relocation is Retirement and visa to go with it. He intends bringing personal possessions and some house furniture. Will he be liable for import duty and VAT on the items he brings to Thailand? Any insights in the import process and tax liability will be appreicated.
