  1. Hello All,

Help needed please re Thailand Pass Application.

I'm from UK with British passport, want to book flight to come to Thailand in March and then apply for the Thailand Pass in the next week (after 1st March).

My intention was to come for upto 5 months and to enter Visa Exempt(30 days), extend that(further 30 days) and then change to a Non Imm O Visa(90 days), in total 150days.
FYI I don’t want to extend Non Imm O at this point in time, maybe in the future I will go down this route.
While researching the requirements for the Thailand Pass on the Royal Thai Embassy London website, the last requirement says that All Nationals that are eligible for Visa Exempt entry and intend staying for longer than 30 days should apply for a Visa and not enter Visa Exempt.

    1. Is the Thailand Pass only to allow entry or does it also state length of stay allowed? (I would have insurance for          the whole 150 days)

    2. Does anybody know if I would be refused Thailand Pass/entry if I applied/entered Visa exempt??

    3. Would a throw away flight at the end of the first 30 days get me past this requirement and then I could stay as I originally intended?

TIA for constructive answers & information

Bring a filled out TM7, a passport photo, and copies of your TM6 (departure card) and your entry stamp.  Also be sure to make an online appointment (for K counter if you entered visa exempt - I'm not sure which counter you need in other cases).

They will have a few other short forms for you to fill out when you get there.  The cost of the extension is 1900 baht.

Also, make sure your hotel has filed the TM30 online so that your address shows up in their system.

Many thanks for the information, always good to be as prepared as you possibly can.

In case anyone would like to know, I went back to MTT again today (21 Jan 2021) and applied for another extension (my current stamp is valid until 29 Jan).  Basically the exact same process as last time.  Got an under consideration stamp telling me to come back on 4 Feb, at which time I assume I'll receive a stamp valid until sometime around the end of March.  There weren't many people there and the process only took about 45 minutes.  No Covid test required.

Hi, I’m going to immigration next week for my first Covid19 extension. Can you tell me what documents are required for the Covid19 extension, ie photos/copies of documents/cost etc...

  4. Hi All,

I entered Thailand on 4-2-20 on an Non Imm O-A visa, which expired on the 9-6-20. Was unable to exit/re-enter Thailand before expiry to get full 2nd year of Non Imm O-A visa because of Covid19 (borders closed).
My PoS/90 day report expires on the 2-2-21

Is it possible for me to convert to an Non Imm O visa (90 days)?

If Yes to conversion, what are the requirements please?

if No to conversion, can I apply for a Covid19 extension (60 days)?

If Yes to extension, do I need a reason and what are the requirements please?

If No to extension, are there any other options for me?, apart from leaving Thailand.

    Many thanks for helpful information.

FYI i am in Udon Thani and will be going to immigration office there.
Apologies if posted in wrong forum and if questions have been asked before.
