We already know that there's plenty of people who have a good measure of immunity against this disease because they don't get ill. What's the difference between those and the people who do get ill? Therein lies the answers..

between 80 and 90 percent show non to mild symptoms, this group is healthy and usually under 80

'What's the difference between those and the people who do get ill?'

whereas those who get ill and die are usually over 80 suffering from various illnesses already. But that isn't where the answer lies, It's amazing ur all still trying to apply logic and science to a totally illogical scenario. The response to cornholio is politically motivated, very little to do with science or medicine, that should be blatantly obvious by now.

What if the main players touting vaccines are lying?

For the confused people, the link is to an article stating America’s Frontline Doctors are claiming that simple, effective, inexpensive treatments already exist for the cornholio, that there has been a huge misinformation / propaganda campaign to convince people a new vaccine is needed for 8 billion mostly healthy people, and that thousands of doctors are 'being silenced' regarding these alternative treatments. Now whats so confusing about that?

Yesterday masks in shops became compulsory in the UK, with only medical issue exception. I visited for the first time this morning, and all but one old fossil wore masks

I was out and about in London shops today, hardly any difference to this time last week, lots of people without masks, shop keepers mostly not enforcing, waitrose are but the line of people outside is much smaller, police have stated they will not be answering calls to shops for mask issues unless there is violence involved. In this area, near Kings Cross, masks are not the main issue as a lot of people are questioning the validity of the whole cov exercise, they are being warned about a second wave but still waiting for the first. BTW, the police don't wear masks here and neither do many of the shop keepers. There are a lot of people wearing them as chin protectors

Uk closed many businesses because of the government mandated response to covid. There hasn't been anything that unusual about the death figures, if it were not for the propaganda and the lockdowns no one would have noticed anything different going on and it would have been business as usual.

As for freedom, there is no more of that here than any other fake democracy.

From the links you have provided it is clear that your ‘hours of looking at the studies’ you have been looking at the wrong studies

Not really, I looked for studies related to masks and found little related to societal use, quite a bit of propaganda though, most studies are hospital and health care related as that's there intended use, I think you can conclude even from these studies that, as the WHO states:  "There is no specific evidence to suggest that the wearing of masks by the mass population has any potential benefit. In fact, there's some evidence to suggest the opposite in the misuse of wearing a mask properly or fitting it properly,"

    https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/30/world/coronavirus-who-masks-recommendation-trnd/index.html

    or the cdc

CDC 'does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19. Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to  others'.

Are you sick? If so maybe you should just stay indoors till you feel better.

I can find articles related to mask use on a societal level but they are more of a more psychological nature:

Psychotherapist Amy Morin explains that wearing the masks does more for our mental health than our physical well-being, by soothing our anxiety and giving us the illusion of being in control.

I'm not sick, though governments currently seem to want to treat everyone as though they are sick, I'm not anxious, and I don't need the illusion of being in control. So I don't need a mask to protect  myself or anyone around me.

thats my business’ is an incredibly selfish outlook in a time when we all need to follow sensible rules to protect each other.

The rules aren't sensible, you may be doing more harm than good

No, the governments are telling us what to do...

They might be telling you what to do, I stopped listening to the UK government and it's vile propaganda a long time ago.

WHY is this is a recurring issue? what is it with people who don’t want to wear a mask. I just cannot grasp their selfishness.

Nothing to do with selfishness, I'm just not one for blindly following orders. There are endless studies that conclude mask wearing doesn't help:

    Review of the Medical Literature
Here are key anchor points to the extensive scientific literature that establishes that wearing surgical masks and respirators (e.g., “N95”) does not reduce the risk of contracting a verified illness:

Jacobs, J. L. et al. (2009) “Use of surgical face masks to reduce the incidence of the common cold among health care workers in Japan: A randomized controlled trial,” American Journal of Infection Control, Volume 37, Issue 5, 417 – 419. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19216002

N95-masked health-care workers (HCW) were significantly more likely to experience headaches. Face mask use in HCW was not demonstrated to provide benefit in terms of cold symptoms or getting colds.

Cowling, B. et al. (2010) “Face masks to prevent transmission of influenza virus: A systematic review,” Epidemiology and Infection, 138(4), 449-456. https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/epidemiology-and-infection/article/face-masks-to-prevent-transmission-of-influenza-virus-a-systematic- review/64D368496EBDE0AFCC6639CCC9D8BC05

None of the studies reviewed showed a benefit from wearing a mask, in either HCW or community members in households (H). See summary Tables 1 and 2 therein.

bin-Reza et al. (2012) “The use of masks and respirators to prevent transmission of influenza: a systematic review of the scientific evidence,” Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses 6(4), 257–267. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/j.1750-2659.2011.00307.x

“There were 17 eligible studies. … None of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.”

Smith, J.D. et al. (2016) “Effectiveness of N95 respirators versus surgical masks in protecting health care workers from acute respiratory infection: a systematic review and meta-analysis,” CMAJ Mar 2016 https://www.cmaj.ca/content/188/8/567

“We identified six clinical studies … . In the meta-analysis of the clinical studies, we found no significant difference between N95 respirators and surgical masks in associated risk of (a) laboratory-confirmed respiratory infection, (b) influenza-like illness, or (c) reported work-place absenteeism.”

Offeddu, V. et al. (2017) “Effectiveness of Masks and Respirators Against Respiratory Infections in Healthcare Workers: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,” Clinical Infectious Diseases, Volume 65, Issue 11, 1 December 2017, Pages 1934–1942, https://academic.oup.com/cid/article/65/11/1934/4068747

    'Just wear the damn mask'

    'just take the damn vaccine'

just get in  the damn box car'

I don't tell people what to do, if you want a security blanket around your head that's your business, if I don't, (not through ignorance but through hours of looking at studies), that's my business.

Of course you can look at it that way too, but either way this is still huge overkill what is going on here.

All the countries involved seem to be taking their orders from the WHO, run by Tedros, the first WHO director without a medical degree, who has been accused of crimes against humanity:

    https://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/africa/item/35325-marxist-un-who-boss-must-be-put-on-trial-critics-say

Aside from his (lack of) medical credentials, Tedros happens to be a member of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), The TPLF was listed as a terrorist organisation by the US government in the 1990s, and is still listed as one by the Global Terror Database because of its unfortunate habit of carrying out armed assaults in rural areas.

He was also Ethiopian Minister of Health from 2002 to 2012 at a time when the regime was accused of covering up epidemics.  A cholera outbreak spread the region in 2007, infecting thousands in neighbouring countries. When it spread to Ethiopia, the government simply renamed the outbreak and called it Acute Watery Diarrhoea (AWD).

But his job now is probably just to be a yes man, the WHO largest funder, Bill Gates, who recently admitted for every 1 billion he puts into the vaccine industry he gets 20 billion out,

    https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/23/bill-gates-turns-10-billion-into-200-billion-worth-of-economic-benefit.html

also has a very dubious past, here are just a few of his philanthropic endeavors:

In 2017, the World Health Organization reluctantly admitted that the global polio explosion is predominantly vaccine strain, meaning it is coming from Gates’ Vaccine Program.

The most frightening epidemics in Congo, the Philippines, and Afghanistan are all linked to Gates’ vaccines. By 2018, ¾ of global polio cases were from Gates’ vaccines.

In 2014, the Gates Foundation funded tests of experimental HPV vaccines, developed by GSK and Merck, on 23,000 young girls in remote Indian provinces.

Approximately 1,200 suffered severe side effects, including autoimmune and fertility disorders.

Seven died. Indian government investigations charged that Gates funded researchers committed pervasive ethical violations: pressuring vulnerable village girls into the trial, bullying parents, forging consent forms, and refusing medical care to the injured girls. The case is now in the country’s Supreme Court.

In 2010, the Gates Foundation funded a trial of a GSK’s experimental malaria vaccine, killing 151 African infants and causing serious adverse effects including paralysis, seizure, and febrile convulsions to 1,048 of the 5,049 children.

During Gates 2002 MenAfriVac Campaign in Sub-Saharan Africa, Gates operatives forcibly vaccinated thousands of African children against meningitis.

Between 50-500 children developed paralysis. South African newspapers complained, “We are guinea pigs for drug makers.” Nelson Mandela’s former Senior Economist, Professor Patrick Bond, describes Gates’ philanthropic practises as “ruthless” and immoral”.

In 2010, Gates committed $ 10 billion to the WHO promising to reduce population, in part, through new vaccines. A month later Gates told a Ted Talk that new vaccines “could reduce population”.

In 2014, Kenya’s Catholic Doctors Association accused the WHO of chemically sterilizing millions of unwilling Kenyan women with a phoney “tetanus” vaccine campaign.

Independent labs found the sterility formula in every vaccine tested. After denying the charges, WHO finally admitted it had been developing the sterility vaccines for over a decade.

Similar accusations came from Tanzania, Nicaragua, Mexico and the Philippines.

A 2017 study (Morgensen et.Al.2017) showed that WHO’s popular DTP is killing more African than the disease it pretends to prevent. Vaccinated girls suffered 10x the death rate of unvaccinated children.

All well documented and verifiable. So whatever is going on, don't worry we are in safe hands.

Bet you wish you'd never asked

The poster is correct in my view, a lot of people are suffering some form of blindness, particularly when it comes to seeing updates from the original perpetrators of the fear campaign when they correct the initial figures that came from a simulation, ( 60,000,000 will die ),  with the actual according to real life, same ballpark as seasonal flu. I think a lot of brains stopped working in reaction to a simulation and now, for some reason, can't accept the real life statistics. This chart from Sweden is a good example of real vs simulated. Sweden didn't lockdown

no sure, it is always for the other... even if you know someone seek by malaria or deng or a road accident, you deny that in fact, it can "follow" everyone.

The problem of this kind of mind thinking is the word "follow" and to imagine things who describe a kind of low psychic power with a panic pandemic problem.

    A virus doesn't follow someone.

    A mosquito doesn't follow someone.

A road accident doesn't waiting for someone to come and never follow someone.

Just you can take care to not go where there is a lot of mosquito, so near water retention places (if you can), wear long pants and long shirt, drive slowly, be careful about all the other people when you drive, use blinks BEFORE to turn, and turn your head BEFORE to turn to see really what's going on, you can also wear mask protection wash your hands, not touch anything without any reason, don't go in high density places (if you can). Or if you are really and dramatically afraid about all risk a life can have, stay close in a little strong steel protected hole against bomb, 6 meter deep under your home and have no life (safety first). Or imagine a virus would follow you to try to find your mum, your wife, children... or what ever an other one dramatic scenario who would describe a kind of panic psychic healthy problem.

I posted this in an inactive thread, those living in fear of this virus, and those who aren't, should have a listen to this guys take for some balance.

I was wondering why when we hear about the many retractions in terms of mortality and mis calculations, admitting wild exaggerations of the dangers of corholio, the news doesn't seem to register with a lot of people. When the surgeon general UK publicly announced the cov' was not such a big deal and compared it to the flu the media ignored this as did a lot of people on social media, it's as if now the majority only register with news that supports the continuation of the madness. So I found what this guy had to say interesting and pertinent.
