Open an account with a bank which offers a debit card that doesn't charge a fee for withdrawing money in another province.
bingo! What left is: find such a bank, find a branch, a manager that'll be willing to open an account for me on a tourist visa. And all that are in a provience that I wish. That's it.

Good luck with getting a new card issued in Bangkok. Last year I needed to get a new Bangkok Bank debit card in Pattaya. It was more convenient for me to use a branch inside Tesco Lotus. They wouldn't entertain it. I had to go back to the branch where I opened my account at the corner of Walking St.
So if my experience is anything to go by, expect problems.
Wake up, we're talking about kasikorn.

you're talking bulishlt.
to open a new account, I'd have to close my current one. Once I've closed it, I may not be able to open a new one, anywhere, because they've tighted KYC regulations. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to. And if I'm not? As if you were not aware of that.

Did you report your official address earlier? At several immigration offices, they want to see the TM30 receipt when applying for a Certificate of Residence.
why would I report anything? that's not my job

small guesthouse run by a family.
they haven't registered/reported me. If I come to the immigration to obtain a residency certificate, will I get one? With no problem?

I opened my account with Kasikorn in Pattaya a few years ago. If now I go to an office in, say, Bangkok, to obtain a new card, will the region of my new card change too automatically, to become the one of Bangkok?
That is, with my old card I could withdraw money in Pattaya with no fees because I got my card there. And in other regions I'd pay 15 bath fees for withdrawals.

Rith Mony has buses that departure at 2 pm - too late.
-
How about incoming calls, when in roaming, to a phone, not via the app? Also free?

How to get to Pailin and then the border? Not by taxi, but by bus or mini-bus/van.

Your forgetting the fact that most countries on the earth tax income of non residents.
Gibberish. There're 1 or 3 of such countries on the whole Earth that tax non-residents, the US is one of them.

How to get from (Cambodia) Battambang -> Pailin -> border -> (Thailand) -> something -> bus to Bangkok? I don't want a taxi. Nor a mini-bus / van in Thailand.
Are there buses on all those routes? Or something cheap? songteo?

In Phuket at Patong in central festival there're vendors that sell locally made wallets for decent prices. Mosty under 1000 baht. And they have a good selection of wallets and there're many vendors. it's on the -1 floor. All in one place. Vendors from Myanmar sell them, mostly.
Unlike in Pattaya, where wallets are of different types than in Phuket, mostly, they cost 2 times more. Or in Bangkok - I haven't found neither a similar place, nor wallets. Only a veerrry little selection, from individual vendors, on the streets or small shops.... found by accident
Where else are those types of wallets sold in the country and the same regular prices -- like in Phuket?
Getting a new card -- region will remain unchanged?
