  1. You don’t know anything about the vaccine though, except that it has proven safe for some months in patients. These vaccines usually go through years of testing. It’s strange because in your own post you mentioned taking the vaccine and being completely laid out with a fever and chattering teeth. And you think based on that reaction this was just some innocuous stuff you put in your body. Fine. I hope it is innocuous. But the point is that is obviously a very strong reaction your body has had. Who knows how something could manifest in the coming months.
  2. Healthcare is about making money, not about health. It does depend on what country you are from I will admit, however. The sooner people learn this, the better, because people assuredly have not learned it yet. It is blatantly true in Thailand, they are just a little better at hiding it in places like the US. Knowing the above, every individual is better armed to answer questions for themselves about these vaccines.
  3. The self centered ones are clearly those who think their own choices should be forced upon others. It’s the exact definition of being self centered.
  4. I don’t think there are too many who feel as you state. But, there are many who think one should have the right to not vax. And those people may or may not be vaxed too btw… that part is completely immaterial. People are just so politicized nowadays. You can’t even make an argument without the other side assuming everything. Big news flash for everyone, you can be pro vax and pro choice for vax at the same time.
  5. Then why do countries that did not lock down at all havedrastic drops in numbers of cases? Can you answer that? The answer is the drastic drops are everywhere, lockdowns or no lockdowns, because the virus moves through the populations at this point no matter what you do. For the life of me I can’t help but just tell you all how you cannot see how obvious so much of this is. For example, Thailand’s borders are closed. Thailand is infected with covid! It makes zero sense to leave the borders closed, that is very detrimental to the country. It’s not as if we have 14 cases here or something controllable. How is this not blatantly obvious?
  6. Your question was how will lifting lockdowns stop hospitals from being full. I have told you upon increasing restrictions, hospitals have filled up more. There is not much more to say if you cannot understand.
  7. I didn’t say there was. Read closely you’ll find I’m saying it does not matter. Infection curves follow a similar pattern everywhere in the world. I feel like I am speaking with three year olds sometimes. Really, if lockdowns worked, why did Sweden get pullbacks in infection rates? Sweden should just be an utter mess if lockdowns really worked, and Thailand should be seeing decreasing numbers right now if regulations worked. I’m just not sure how on gods green earth people have not proven to themselves that infections tapering is caused by properties within the biology of the virus, and nothing we do. Maybe a more simple way to look at it: Thailand locked its borders. Why do we even have the delta variant then? It’s because humans are human. A rich Thai billionaire flies his Cambodian mistress over to Thailand during the closed border period. You see, it doesn’t work, and it’s proven not to work, so why keep doing it? Hopefully thereis some clarity in there for you.
  8. Bro, uk lockdowns ended, infection rate dropped. Not much else to discuss. You’re responding “nope” to facts. You seem to be making the mistake of assuming lockdowns are effective.
  9. That’s not true. We already know things like overdoses have spiked 50% in a San Francisco study. So imagine all the deleterious effects being added up, domestic abuse, depression, suicide.
  10. Yep. I see this problem over and over on here. A bunch of retired guys on pensions demanding that we stay locked down. It’s basically like standing in the middle of a public street, ripping off your shirt and yelling “ME! It’s all about me. Just me!”
  11. You sorta need to open the borders to the country before you can restore confidence
  12. Does it matter what it was? They went in, got a shot, and are now dead. I suppose it does matter, but whatever it was it can obviously happen again.
  13. Real take home point here: who on earth is anyone to tell other people they need to vax? It’s a personal choice. If you’re one of these no vax shamers, grow up.
  14. Your question is completely nonsensical. Thailand has increased restrictions, and cases have gone up. Have they not? Recently UK eased restrictions, and cases went down. The point here isn’t so much that easing lockdowns reduced infections, but the actual point is, it just doesn’t matter. People are making up the reasons for decreases in infections as they see fit. Humans are human, and people will cross closed borders, people will put on dirty masks, people will come home after shopping and infect loved ones (who wears masks with no contact at home?). Covid infection curves follow very similar patterns and taper off in similar ways. It has little to nothing to do with restrictions. I realize you will never get it, but lockdowns will be shown to have a net negative impact in the end, with little to no impact on the long term number of infections. The only question you need to be asking is to yourself, and the question is why you think lockdowns work.
  15. That’s great if those stats are correct. What is says to me is open up.
  16. Another day, another time deaths stats are pushed in everyone’s faces, and we are basically forced to stay inside and wilt away. The greatest thought experiment I had recently was put all the lockdown people somewhere, and the freedom people somewhere else… because those two groups don’t just have different views, they are from different worlds. Why try to force oil and water to mix. I’m all for it, segregate societies based on if you would like to be free or not. The funny part is many of the lockdown proponents would choose the freedom society in the end.
  17. Ok. And in doing so a lot of people would die from the effects of the lockdown. idk what people are smoking, but one things lockdowns are NOT, is they are not lockdown and just resume life without consequences when they end. That’s the one thing nobody considers, that little detail about the consequences of the lockdowns, which could last for decades.
  18. Sweden has 0 deaths per day and basically looks to have covid in the rear view mirror. They never locked down, people never lost jobs or died from increased substance abuse, domestic abuse, depression… Whatever you are smoking is good. Again, they are out of it, AND they didn’t lock down.
  19. Bro, malls are closed. People are not allowed to work. They have families. Your point about tourists not returning immediately is noted but it is moot. You can take away jobs from Thais I am not sure what to say if people do not understand this.
  20. Well that makes the decision easy. You get vaxed then. <deleted> about the rest and what others should do.
