I wonder if the health insurance will cover the Looney Bin, because that's where I would be heading after paying to be locked in a room for 16 days.

I love Thailand but I am going to stay in the good ole USA until the quarantine requirements are dropped. Quarantine is pretty much 14 days of hell for a guy like me, regardless of how luxurious the room is. Hopefully the vaccine puts an end to all this Bulshovic, but I'm not going to flinch if the theater goes on for another year.

The elite visa holders that are currently in Thailand, and wish to remain in Thailand, are getting their money's worth in my opinion. They probably are the least concerned about what will happen to them after July 31st... Glass half full.

Not to rain on anyone's Thai parade, but these monkey experiments are known as preclinical trials. There are currently over 125+ vaccines in this phase. Astrazeneca and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Australia each already have a potential vaccine in Phase III. Not to mention the other pharmaceutical juggernauts such as Merck and J&J getting light speed approval from the government.

Does this mean I can go to Thailand now?
