it's more probable that other countries ban flights from Thailand than that Thailand bans flights from China. Which is reason why other countries now ban flights from Thailand.

I won't even receive "someone called you at ...." messages in the app
other types of messages - i keep receiving (kasikorn, "welcome to new country")

I'm abroad. Some people has tried to call me and all the time they've gotten "number isn't active'. I've tried too, via skype -- "number is inactive" again.
My number is active, I see that in my "dtac online" dashboard. I've used it for years, abroad too.
In the App the checkbox "receive calls via the dtac call app" is on.
What's the matter?

I need to send a proof of my address, printed out, to some orgranisation. Can I use the kasikorn green account book for that somehow?
for instance, if I insert it into ATM, will there an ability to print out my bank statement that includes my address on it? Address which I used to open kasikorn bank account.

That is a silly question sir. If you did not hear the United States is a country of immigrants. There are more bilingual speaking people in the USA than most countries in this world.
Even better. How many of the native americans know 2 languages? They're white gringos who are unable to communicate simple stuff when in Mexico, for instance.
Let alone british, ozzies and others.

in general, English is a shifftyy language. Spanish is way better.
Also, to british and americans - "how many languages, except your native language - English, do you know?"

The only person I heard of berating a Thai person for their choice of language was a Chinese national. When the manager of the guesthouse I was staying in spoke to them in fluent Mandarin (She had worked in Taiwan for years), they yelled at her to “Speak English!”
Crazy world.
One person in one isolated situation said something. so what?

after a little while, they'll say "Ooooooo" which is similar to "got it, finally". Now I assume that've understood me. No -- they still haven't understood.

in a bank "what's required to open an account?" -- "give me your passport" --> "I asked only "what's required!"

9 times out of 10, when I say a phrase, the 1st part will go one ear in, the other out.
no matter what I ask, 90% of the time I get an answer to different question.
"which coffee is stronger: this or that?" - "you want this coffee?" --> I asked "which one is stronger!"
"how much are bananas?" - they'll take bananas and begin packing them --> I didn't ask to sell them to me, I asked only "how much!"
"what is coffee mocachino"?" - "you want mocachino? 50 baht" and she'll begin to prepare it --> I asked "what is it!" I haven't asked to give it to me yet.

I have the green bank account which I've had for years. I opened it with a passport which will expire in 2 years. I have a second passport of the same country. Now I'm about to leave the country. Should I better go to a kasikorn branch and update my passport details? If I return in 3 years, will I have any problem to do that?I'll have to show them first my expired passport, right? It may also be shredered if I obtain a new one, in place of it, during the time I'm out of the country.
