And why only quarantine in Bangkok? If they only  allow up to 1,000 a day of those stranded to return, and there are several thousand more than that by all accounts, why not permit quarantining in Phuket also where I'm sure quite a few of us reside? Phuket airport is open. And, uh, Phuket is an island so much better control. It would also allow Phuket to 'kickstart' their hotels with their new safety rules and regulations in preparation for the massive influx of tourists that will 'flock' here this coming high season.

Probably because it's more easy to manage if they find positive cases

I do not believe your prior history would create problems at immigration. However, you need to be clear about whether you really mean a visa on arrival (15 days for nationals not entitled to visa exemption) or a visa exempt entry. I assume you are from a country that qualifies for visa exempt entry, in which case you will get 30 days (29 nights) on entry, which can optionally be extended for a further 30 days at an immigration office in Thailand.

Yes it's a visa exempt of 30 days that i get when i arrive in Thailand

I could simply do a visa in the embassy but i dont really need it as one month stay is already enough for me generally
