Oh, sorry. I thought you wanted it. haha. My Mainland's colleagues told me that many local governments are encouraging/forcing citizens to take vaccines. They even arrange the medical team to factories for vaccination. But, they told me that many of them are still don't want to take/hold back because of side-effect of vaccines and know some old people died in HK after getting Sinovac vaccine.

China does not recognise other nationalities by birth location. A Chinese National (China says) cannot say they are an American because they were born in America. Chinese Nationality trumps all others.

Do you have a "Home Return Permit"/Mainland Travel Permit" card? If you have it, you can give it a try and tell them you have this card. Chinese government treat people in HongKong differently.  One of my friends who had the same issue in Shanghai. The local government finally treated him as a foreigner and gave him vaccinated. 

I think Thai government made the decision to let Thai airways file bankruptcy.

One does not have to make the case that the virus was released deliberately (I do not believe this), or that subsequent spreading was done with intent (more plausiable than the first assertion, but still lacking evidence of such).  The questions at hand are

• Did the Chinese cover up the truth about the virus
• Did that lead to the virus-spread
• What were the consequences of this?

I do not see any way that is disputable, given what we know at this point.  Those who spoke out were cracked-down upon.  And there are still "disappeared" scientists (virologists) in China right now - so the cover-up is ongoing. 

 

That said, there is plenty of blame to go around in the West - from those allowing the outsourcing to China to ever occur in the first place, to allowing Chinese researchers into our universities, to allowing dangerous virus-research in OUR labs by Anyone ... to the more recent events, including not stopping flights sooner from infected areas, believing the WHO's echoing of Chinese propaganda, etc.

 

 

The first whistle-blower (Dr. Li) got detained and eventually he died after infecting the virus from patients.

Again wrong to claim flu variations come from China. MERS originated from Middle East. Normal flu is just as dangerous. In US between the months of Oct - Nov, 910-2,400 people died from flu and 16,000-29,000 people hospitalized according to CDC reports. 
 

China is perhaps the only country in the world that can ordered a lockdown of a province of 11 million people by a single order. They are just as concern with the disease severity as the whole world. Many global health organizations including WHO are involved in stopping the spread. You can’t lie with such large exposure coverage by the world.

This virus appeared in December but they kept it a low profile until they cannot cover it. Seven Wuhan netizens reported this on internet at that time and finally they got arrested. Until now, Noone know where they are.
