  1. Thank heavens for Thai female friends!! :D

Seems like you are the one with the problem,so take your balls in your hand and be a man dam_n it.

task: find a way to reach the following goal: someone has to clean the house

select the picture that in your opinion looks like a good strategy to reach that goal:

    a) manwithroses.jpg

    B)350762vagnmtwodqvlarge.jpg

  2. I was mulling over starting a thread on a similar line.... not that Thai women have the balls that ought to belong to Thai men, rather that for a country which attracts so many foreign men looking for women less 'assertive' than their western sisters Thailand nevertheless seems to be brimming with farangs who are in complete fear of the meek and mild Thai woman they came here to meet.

that is my observation too. not only fear of women, also contempt of women. a bitterness as a results of failed relationships with woman, back home and here in thailand again.

why? my theory is that they are actually gays, but just didn't find it out by themself and still want to follow daddy's role model or what they think how a 'real man' has to be.

they prefer to hang around with other grumbling males and bitching about woman. wasted time. they should rather try to have some fun with each other. win -win situation. there is nothing wrong with being gay and probably much more easier to be a 'real man', not all gays are fags (Amer. English). but also cowboys, bikers, working class heros. the acceptance for facial hair is also much more higher in this scene.

  3. Um, whatever. You've entirely lost me. Quoting a non-existent post by me? By someone else? In a thread I did not participate in?

And just so you know, I do cook and I do take of things for myself, if that is what your point is here, but tbh, I am not entirely sure.

it's about the construction of gender roles.

whats the point in slapping the OP for making compliments to thai woman? call him not man enough or send him to language school, because for some problem he got the help of thai women. help with task, he as a male and his male friends to have been not sucessful. this isn't just a language problem, but a thing we as constructed males are just not good enough. thanks god there are females helping us out.

and i am pretty sure that also the OP does a lot things by himself, maybe even cooking or "cleans the house". (with "cleans the house" i try to establish a running gag).

his topic is more or less an reply to the ugly attidude forwards thai woman on this board, phallogocentric misogyny is the mainstream here. and so this thread is related to other topics.

  4. it's a quote from another recently discussed topic.

good to hear that your "thai boy" is such a real hero and get rid of the snakes in the house, but can't you cook a delicious tom yam nguu by yourself? waste his precious time doing something that you should be capable of doing yourself.

Here's a thought. take some cooking classes. Then deal with it yourself instead.

and whats wrong with the OP?

good to see a nice change from the usual complains about woman we can read so often on TVforum.

Is this an attempt at humour, somebody enlighten me.

No idea, but it seems to me that PD has confused me with someone else. My husband doesn't eat snakes, I have no idea what he's talking about and it seems to me he needs to take whatever personal issues he has with the person he's confused me with to PM instead of cluttering up the forum with meaningless posts.

i have no personal issue with you. and i am not confusing you with somebody else. but i seems you take things to personally.

all i have done is to take comments by others, re-sample them and change the gender roles. and suddendly it is confusing for some people or even "cluttering up the forum with meaningless posts."

my intention/ my attempt was to make it, with this re-sample method more clear and understandable what was said in the first place, by the others. now i get slapped in an agressive manner for words and thoughts that are not mine.

@Moonrakers. it's your question a rhetorical one? an attempt at humour?

  5. Funny, my Thai husband manages to get things sorted --takes a bit of time, being a man he seems to suffer from that selective hearing issue that most men have (could be what you are running into there) but he manages to get bills sorted, my yellow tabien ban, DSL issues, garbage pick up problems, gets the car fixed etc etc.

Hmmm... could be that your male friends just don't want to do this stuff for you? its a big enough of a PIA to do it for oneself, after all.

    does he "cleans the house"?

No, but he gets rid of the pythons and King Cobras. What's such a seemingly pointless question got to do with the topic at hand?

  7. hello [flame removed]

    [flame removed] even

What does this [flame removed] mean?

A moderator edited his post as he cannot be polite or correct in them. And often goes into open insults. So the very clear insult was this time removed.

mhm, with the removed flame word i adressed a person who posted links to a pedo club webportal. and also supports and advocate their ideas.

behind the www.ipce.info stands the "International Pedophile and Child Emancipation Organisation"

the removed flame word was the abbreviation for Pedophile.

the term Pedophile is a coined from the greek words pedo=child and philia=love, friendship. so translated it means nothing others than childlove. the prefix pedo- you can find in words like pedagogy or paediatrics. the suffix -philia is like in bibliophilia for the love of books by bookworms or audiophile for the high-fidelity enthusiast.

i thought that is okay, because the figures of the Pro_Pedophile Movement call themself proud pedophile and see pedophilia as another kind of sexual orientation next to heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual behavior . this organisation called themself 'Pedophile Emancipation'. an international umbrella organsiation for a number of other pedophile advocacy groups. the term pedophile isn't a negative word for them or a insult. and also the abbreviation for Pedophile, Pedo, is used by themself.

so someone who advocat child love, i can call a pedophile. what's wrong with that? isn't that not PC enough, too offending. must i use something like " children rights activist for children' sexual emancipation and sexual freedom".

there are many other words of slur and flame common people are using when they don't agree with the opinions of "" children rights activists for sexual emancipation and sexual freedom". i called them pedophile. and i tried to explain why in my opinion pedophilia is wrong.

if someone links to trotsky-online. buff or the "Fourth International", keeps bitching about Stalin and talks all the time about the permanent proletarian revolution it wouldn't be incorrect or a 'very clear insult' to call him a Trotskyist.

the second removed flame word (actually two words) was my reaction, answer of the comments by two other TVforum members, mainly this line "Sorry, no 12-yr-old virgins in Thailand -- maybe an ugly 5-yr-old." but also the general tendency of those comments you can read above. post_snapback.gif.

a tendency that is quite common on TVforum. a chauvinistic attitude , pejorative views based on race and gender, sexist stereotypes.

the thai woman just on artist and cheat the 'falang man'. want only money and more money. even the 12 years old girls. for me that is nothing else than Misogyny, contempt of woman.

calling them mysogenic, got [bleeped] as flame word. mhm, if a man say about a woman, the only reason that she is still a virgin is because she is so ugly. isn't that disrespectful and sexism?

and if someone say ""Sorry, no 12-yr-old virgins in Thailand -- maybe an ugly 5-yr-old." " - how you judge such an statement?

i used the term sick. the second part of the removed flame. face to face i would use much stronger words.

and is sick incorrect? that member also claimed "Seriously, ask any psychologist and they will tell you that a paedophile is similar to a homosexual in that they have a genetic predisposition. In other words you would have the same success changing a paedophile as you would telling a homo that they must be hetero"post_snapback.gif

that is false! the American Psychiatric Association classified pedophilia as a mental disorder, a mental illness. in simple english = sick. Homosexuality was once also called a mental illness but this classification got removed from the APA Diagnostic Manual over 30 years ago. pedophilia is still called a illness , in no way considered as normal or socially acceptable behavior. and there are no plans to change this classifacation.

the diagnosis as pedophile , as a person with a mental illness, doesn't require actual sexual activity, just such fantasies are enough and the psychologist call you sick.

anyway, i guess someone had pressed the report button. blamed me as a flamer and that i don't obey the rules. a little forum blockwart. whoever you are, did you report the pro-pedo comments as well? the linked website promotes illegal activities. sexual realtionships between child and adults, hosted somewhere in the anonymous internet under the disguised as scholarly discussion.

now the TVforum is used as platform for this propagana. and it looks like that there is a lobby and they get support. scarry, isn't it?

where is the good old style spirit of the TVforum vigilantes that wishes pedophiles the joy eternal surprise sex in the monkey house? deterrence not to break the law.

I have no idea about this boy's size, it is POSSIBLE that he is taller and heavier than the teacher, with lots of facial hair, it is POSSIBLE that he was horny as hel_l and tried everything he could to seduce her, including signing up for "special" classes at her dorm.

Unless these possibilities are ruled out it's unwise to brand this case with heavy labels like child abuse and pedophilia.

It is also unwise to address other posters here as "pedo", no one will tale seriously whatever follows such address.

I just saw "misogynic sick" in that post as well.

Way to go PD, if you want to discredit your point of view altogether.

maybe, maybe, POSSIBLE, POSSIBLE ... as teacher and adult the woman should know what not to do. the boy is 13, thats the only think we know for sure, all other possibillities speculation and lots of pro-pedo propaganda.

remember swirly face, captured and jailed in thailand, his first trail and sentence was for one case that the judge called "sexual child abuse". as a teacher, 28-29 years old at the time of the crime, he took a 13 years old boy to his room and he let the boy perfom a sexual act on him. the 13 years old "sucked the dove" (so the police described it) of the teacher.

according to a lot of comments here in this thread, it's the biggest dream of 13 years old boys to suck of or perfom sex with a teacher.

i didn't hear or read so much words of support for swirly face or arguments that this 13 year old boy was old enough to know what he do and that was an act of consent.

anyway, i stated before why i called wrong and can not follow the standard defense of the the pro-pedo propaganda. not body size, breast size or penis size makes the difference between a child and an adult. it is the age. you need to learn to gain knowledge and experience, to become an adult. that process required time. and 13 years old are still vulnerable.

abuse doesn't must include physical violence, but is still abuse of minors. and a law protect these minors.

maybe we have different definitions of pedophelia. for me pedophiles are not only the predators, that kidnap kids, rape them violent and kill them afterwards. or not only the one that are after pre-pubescent kids. for me is any adult who seeeks sex with minors and is significant older than them a pedophile. so the ones that are after lolitas, jailbirds, skater boys, 13, 14, 15, 16 years old adolescents - still pedophiles. cunning predators, manipulating and lured themself into the illusions that it's all love and care and not harming and abuse the child. still pedophiles. childlovers.

and if someone argue against the law of consent, comes with TL,DR pamphlets from a pro pedo publication, talks like a Pedo, i call him pedo.

there is a lot of misogyny on this board. that sounds so terrible feminist to you, right. so it must be an insult for someone who denounced gender theory same as Benedetto XVI. or Johnny Redneck jun. that is maybe mainstream here on that board, even in the subcommunity for alternative lifestyle, but's so outdated. most of the time i don't bother to comment, this time not. and ohh horror i said 'sick' too. to a pedophile. press the report button.

i don't think i am discredit myself. why? it's more a case that a couple of closeted pedophiles demonstrate that they lost the orientation here.

  8. I wasn't intending to compare the US and Thai systems, I was trying to draw a comparision the legitimacy of overthowing an elected head of state in either country. Bush could be argued to fit into the category that you reserve for Hitler & Pol Pot, would he not? So why not support the idea of a coup when someone like him is elected into office?

Maybe you didn't use the term "legitimate" to describe the coup that overthrew Thaksin but you answered a question about whether you condoned military deposing an elected government by replying "not in a real democracy". Were you not meaning to imply that Thailand is not a real democracy so coups are acceptable?

har, har. long time not see this. SCNR.

  9. I was under the impression that Israel has in the past captured people in foreign countries to bring back to trial in Israel. That is all. End of story. This is NOT going to turn into a discussion of Israeli politics, so forget about it.

i was under the impression you know at least a little bit about what you are talking. or can you add something more about captured people?

anyway, that are interesting stories, the eichmann capture, the process or the assinations after munich 72, the very early days of the state. great stories, entertaining for the hobby historian. material for movies.

the Air force was sucessfull too, in the wars around 1970. agypt and syria had sovjet-russian weaponry and the jet fighter MiG 21. so that battle field was a test field for the weapen systems east vs. west. never done bevor in the cold war. the loss of the russian MiGs was much more higher. the commie jets didn't perform so well.

if the sandimarxistas have russian scrap we can have a small reproduction show.

in recent years came what got called 'targeted killing'. boring, no secrent agents, no karate fighters knocking evil nazis out, no pilot dogfights. sterile, just press the button, launch a missle. operations in foreign countries that have weak military forces to capture high value targets aka Abdul & Mohammed.

    entertaining factor zero.

in the meanwhile, did the Old-Etonian Mark Veggie called the famer son Daniel and told him: "We want thaksin back!"?

Speaking of Nicaragua, the despised Somoza was deposed, and he ran to some other country, where his enemies followed him to Paraguay and had him assassinated. Trotsky was killed by Lenin's hired assassins in Mexico City. As a friend mentioned to me recently, surely Thailand has its own little elite secret service and assassins.

not lenin, he died years before, but stalin sent the killer.

the official thai intelligence agency is in Teh Internet http://www.nia.go.th/nia/default.asp

and no question, secret killings, missing persons and so on, that is nothing new to thailand.

now some idea for hyphotetical future discussions:

for jet fighter lovers, Should the Thai Air Force give it the little Avocado Republic Nicaragua, Dresden-Style? In the past, a sucessfull operation in a foreign country.

or how about Do you favour the Trotzki Icepick Therapy for Thaksin? In the past, successful treatment of a meschugge politiski troll to Central America.

or a covert operation by the intelligence servive, For Thaksin the Lumumba Solution? a Belgish Spa & Bath program of the past, worked sucessfull near Rohingya Rhodesia.

  10. I was talking about a capture operation, to bring him back to Thailand for trial as a hypothetical idea for discussion. That is all. No interest in discussing Israeli politics here, nor can we, it is off topic.

the topic is: Do You Favor An [bleep] Style Capture Of Thaksin From Nicaragua?

your first sentence : [bleep] , in the past, has carried out successful operations in foreign countries that have weak military forces to capture high value targets.

that left me clueless. i have no idea what you talking about, but i gave you a short abstract of my level of knowledge. i thought that would make it easier for you to answer, instead that you have to start from the scratch. i didn't list entebbe for example because it wasn't a hunt for a single individual. [bleep] or [bleep] politics isn't gingerly, we know that. sometimes they just do it.

they want eichmann to be on trial, go to argentinia, knock him out with a karate move, dress him with a Kippah and with your chupze he pass the immigration control as drunken member of a jewish delegation.

sucessfull operation: yes; military/airforce involved: no; target captured and in custody: yes

and the eichmann capture was cool. Hannah Arendt wrote her book "The Banality of Evil"

that guy is the mastermind behind the bomb attacks in our towns, programm a missle to track his mobile phone signal, press the start button and call his number. kaboom. so it goes. sucessfull operation: yes; military/airforce involved: yes; target captured and in custody: no

a sniper would have been maybe more classy, but a noisy missile delivers a message that is more striking.

i don't want to judge [bleep] foreign policy and the right or wrong of it. i just stated the facts. so i didn't mentioned 'mistakes' during operations, letterbombs to the wrong adresses, i didn't talked about the involvment of high ranking [bleep] politicans in (para)military operation in the early days. and few other things that are not so kosher in [bleep] operations abroad. i didn't stressed all that controversy that normally envolved when somebody had said [bleep] in an internet forum at all. and now i even bleep every time[bleep] or [bleep] is mentioned with a [bleep] out.

i just kept going, autistic and unemotional, trough a list of well known[bleep] military or 'capture the high value target' operations. thats all. and i checked if the 'operations', i know, fitting your description of a [bleep] style capture. they doesn't. thats why i asked what kind of operation you had in mind.

if you say: [bleep] , in the past, has carried out successful operations in foreign countries that have weak military forces to capture high value targets., thats sounds like a long list of operations or at least a couple. it makes me to start to think about and i wanna know.

is "sucessfull captured" an American English euphemism, i don't get because i am not a native speaker? meaning KABOMM, hatch closed, monkey dead .

or is the [bleep] style only to mess around with 'countries that have weak military forces'

can't you give a description of "a successful [bleep] operations in foreign countries that have weak military forces to capture high value targets" ?

  11. As with what parallaxtech mentions above, each situation is different. Unfortunately the law does not realise any difference in circumstances. It should be well known to visitors to Thailand that sex with a girl a day before her 16th birthday will get you in a lot of trouble and sex with the same girl on her 16th birthday will still get you into trouble albeit slightly less. The point is the law makes no distinction about whether it was consensual or who initiated it. The law takes account only of whether the act took place at what age the persons were at the time.

    hello [flame removed]

how odd are the changes that a visitor come to thailand, who dosn't know that there is such a law and hey suddendly there is an under 16 years old girl, willing to have consensual sex with him and everything is perfect without a flaw, a idyll, a balanced joy of sex? and how odd are the changes that without such a law, the predators are coming to hunt openly. that there is an increase in demand and so a stronger grow of a trade.

and why he would like to have to, sex with 15 years old girls or 14 / 15 years old boys or younger. they are to young to give consent. again an underage person lacks experience, knowledge, judgement of what is 'right' and 'wrong'. puberty, be at an awkward age makes their head a little bit wacky. they are vulnerable at that age and maybe an easy target for a sexual predator, an manipulative adult who like to play his ego power game with them, a pedo.

to protect them, there is the law for. let them have their adolescent years, why you sounds so eager to wanna interfere there with your adlut sexual lust? why don't just respect that law and back off from the very young? is that so difficult? why all this arguments about the unfair consent law because of a few single cases?

the article, you gave the link to, is bias, one sided, pro pedo propaganda. for his pro side he quoted controversial studies, critics just get flammed, the "child sexual abuse industry", 'feminist prosecutors, therapists, social workers, and police investigators driven by hatred of men'. an angry pedo speaks that way. pedo propaganda, who sees themself in the tradition of the gay and lesbian rights movement. argues now is the time for an other revolution of aceptance. pedo child love.

sexual child abuse exist, it is a reality, and there is damage. physically and mentally, emontionally. damage of a young life. there are adults that don't accept the limit, there is a law that stopps them from going on.

pedos with poor social skills, fear/hate women off too. unable to have an equal balanced relationships with other adults or congenial peers. pedos looking for much weaker partner they can put under control.

so maybe the law looks odd for one day before and one day after the 18. birthday, or whatever the certain regulation in certain countries are. in such a case the judge hopefully will make a wise decision.

but for the pedos isn't the 18years -1 day the goal. young as 12 years old look completely normal.

for me, you and parallaxtech reveal a pretty sick mindset.

Sorry, no 12-yr-old virgins in Thailand -- maybe an ugly 5-yr-old. Seriously, ask any psychologist and they will tell you that a paedophile is similar to a homosexual in that they have a genetic predisposition. In other words you would have the same success changing a paedophile as you would telling a homo that they must be hetero. The second problem is that prostitution is the largest illegal business in Thailand along with drugs. I am approached weekly by minor children, some even knocking on my door at night, and then there are the mothers attempting to drop their daughters off at my house. Since I am a single, wealthy man iliving in Thailand, they see me as a cash cow. So far I have resisted any temptation only because I fear going to jail. Let's be honest, though, how many single males would turn down a gorgeous 17-yr-old coming to their hotel room at night??? I've done it, but how long I can continue to do it is difficult to answer. Get over the notion that innocent young girls are being tricked by seedy old farangs. There are a few cases of this, and the farang should be caught, however, the bulk of it is underage prostitutes plying their wares. You can arrest the farang, but they will just approach the next one.

Quite an element of truth in this. And it won't just be 17 year olds who can easily apppear 18, but often girls as young as 12 or 13 with fake IDs. Once the deed is done they'll tell you their real age and threaten to cry rape to the police unless their victim can be extremely apologetic and even more generous.

Beware the games children play. The girls who play this game are very smart.

[flame removed] even at twelve they are not innocent enough for your? tainted, spoiled allready, little (thai) woman you hate. and they just wanna cheat you and take your money. take advantage of that law you dislike so much. so bad is the world to you.

and the top sick thing, the tabu of having "consensual" pleasure with underage teens you see as a concept of closed minded people, an ill-ideological law against the nature, but both of you are becoming such pathetic moralists when it comes to someone sellling sexual services. not underage prostitution, but adult woman that offer a certain service for money. you judge them bad, look down on them. and you see yourself as a victim lead into temptation and could not resist to do the morally wrong. those snakes.

  12. Israel, in the past, has carried out successful operations in foreign countries that have weak military forces to capture high value targets.

From the Thai government's point of view, there is no higher a value target of capture than Thaksin.

It now seems likely that Thaksin will probably be spending at least some of his time in tiny Nicaragua.

Should the Thai air force snatch him by force in Managua?

What's the downside? War with Nicaragua. Big threat there.

    post-37101-1236419622.jpg

what kind of operation you are talking about?

the eichmann kidnapping? but there was no air force fighter jet involved. just a small team of secret agent snatch him on the road and brought him heavy drugged out of Argentinia "as drunken diplomat" on a civilian passenger flight.

a couple of assassinations by gunmens or killings with small bombs in a couple of european cities in the 1970s and 80s. but again more a secret agent, mossad operation. and it was planned as executions and not an attempted captures that went wrong.

okay the abduction of Mordechai Vanunu was a capture alive. they wanted him for trail back home. tricked from the UK to a trip to Roma, becaused Israel don't wanted to piss off London.

in the Plaestine conflict, the so called " target killings". take out certain hamas leader. after the location of the target was known, just send a couple of missiles into gaza. for targets located in syra no airstrikes, but the good old car bomb, was the weapen of choice.

successful operations, target dead in 1000 pieces, preventive execution. but those rockets, missiles, bombs are very noisy, other things than only the target can get broken too, innocents hurt.

and even without an israeli role model it is one of the stupidest bar-and-sauna talk fantasies i ever saw here on TVforum. har har, and a little bit "tiny nicaragua" bashing as well. you are fighting old battles from the 80s, right?

  13. some of the bitchiness is incredible and i just wish i could have spoken some thai then. The thai lady i was seeing, was a snob and talked about all these ladies as ex bar girls and that they married old farange to get to the Uk then leave the men and start a new life with sexy young man

har, har. SCNR. you mean old men, divorce and leaving their old wifes (from time to time you can read the stories of these poor old mens here on TV forum and their complains, falang wife take everything...) coming to thailand, follow the insider tips of the OP, pick up a young thai girl and are then surprised that the young girl favours young boys.

if you have nothing more to offer than bring her to some certain kind of thai expat circles that comes with other old falang 'my thai wife' husband buffons, no surprise. she will probably just escape this scene.

and you don't have to buy another cliché book about thai girls, so that you can understand this "mysterious" species. just work on your own man-skills. and you don't have to give up a traditional role model and become a softie, but you have to show some manners and act like a gentleman. treat your girl like a woman. if man getting older, we can develop other qualities, but we have to work on it.

if you are into woman, don't ignore what nampueng complained about, she is one of them, a woman. don't listen so much what the other wannabe alpha monkeys have to say and their stereotyping of thai woman. they failed allready, that why they grumble. hey and even they are the best buddies to have a beer with, they won't clean the house. and that's the goal, right?

  14. are you sure with that "passenger must have a thai surname". ? and not maybe 'passenger must be a thai national or a resident in thailand'?

such VFR or ethnic fares are nothing new and are offered also by other national airlines of other countries. never came across something like this as a former travel agent?

when i was younger i got discounts based on my student staus and/or my age, with some airline was the max age 24, with other 27. being a little bit older now i don't feel discriminated because of my age.

maybe you have some thai friends, be happy for them that they get a discount, or tell them in case they don't know.

  15. The bolded paragraph is interesting. So if the man said he was a 4 but his girl responded he was a 2, does that make him a 3. What did the company that did this survey use a control?

    Level 1: Spaghetti

    Level 2: Ripe Banana

    Level 3: Carrot

    Level 4: Wood

Silly can you imagine the conversation in bed, "Honey I know you are trying but could you please be a little more wooden in your approach."

according to Dr Rosie King, who led the study, the levels are like this - level 1: tofu; level 2: peeled banana; level 3: unpeeled banana; level 4: cucumber

The level of erection hardness is measured in a scale of one to four using the Erection Hardness Score (EHS) developed by the European Association of Urology.

“Level one is like tofu where the male organ is large but not hard, level two is similar to a peeled banana where it’s not hard enough for penetration, level three is like an unpeeled banana where it’s hard enough for penetration but not completely, and level four is similar to a cucumber where it’s completely hard and fully rigid,” explained Dr King.

the article has another quote of dr. rosie king: “The survey links the level of erection hardness to sexual satisfaction for men.”

  16. The website for this "charity" is quite vague about what they do, besides their restaurant and ostrich farm.

it's a copy and paste job. content, text and images taken from somewhere else in the internet.

    > our work > project Animal Therapy6,

the cool stories about dog therapy, horse riding and even Dolphin Assisted Therapy, that looks like just copy&pasta from this website equine-therapy-programs.com7 (this website isn't so 'original' either, generic informations, maybe just created to have a good google page rank and sale that domain or links on it. whatever, it looks like c.care copied from them)

    > our work > Child Protection

the text "Child Abuse (Signs of child Abuse)" is taken from another online magazine child-abuse.suite101.com/article.cfm/why_did_you_hurt_me8

just the telephone number on the end of the article is changed to the number of a thai police department

the photo is taken from an older bbc report9

the only "authentic" seems to be that ostrich farms and the restaurant.

    > our work > farm&restaurant project: http://www.ccareasia.or.th/project_farm.html

but what have a big bird farm and a restaurant that served steaks from this birds to do with Animal Assisted Therapy and child care?

the name of the restaurant and or the owner you can put into google. they seems to be real.

google bring us to TVmember of the same name.

a restaurant with the same name is also listed on a information-portal for the gay&lesbian community. there it is recommended as popular spot : Gay-owned Fasirung is a restaurant and pub serving Thai and western dishes in an exotic tropical garden setting located on the main road between the cities of Pitsanuloke and Sukhothai. Open daily from 11am onwards till the last custumer, the later the gayer. Every October 31st they hold a Miss Fasirung gatuey (transgender) contest, a popular event for the area's gays (i don't give the link/url. that's maybe against the TVforum rules. try google.)

i found also a photobucket account of the same name http://s711.photobucket.com/albums/ww118/fasirung/ showing pictures of a restaurant

if i skip to the photos there i am pretty sure that is the same restaurant mentioned on the c.care asia foundation.

i found also pics that are from the same session like the pics in the c.care gallery.

like this one and this. but there it is just called "Children day at Fasirung". looks just like one day of free icecream for the kids. the c.care foundation is not mentioned.

the are other pictures that show the restaurant owners social activities. according to that he is a well respected member of the community, there in Sukhothai. meetings with the govenor, donations to the city hall. awards for the cleanest rest rooms in the province and awards for the healthy food there, children day... and so on. but no word about c.care asia foundation. that doesn't have to mean anything bad, but it is odd.

is that restaurant and the farm really related to "c.care asia foundation" or not? maybe they just take the photos from the internet and put it on the c.care website???

the website http://www.ccareasia.or.th doesn't make the foundation look like a charity organisation i would trust. look like a phantom company. but maybe those philanthropists are busy with work in the villages and have no clue about the internet and asked somebody else to make a website for them. and this person makes some big mistakes.

  17. I am around this age group all the time and turn down at least one sexual advance a week. My girlfriend had to chase a twelve-year-old away from the house last week who was trying to climb in my bedroom window. We should be clear on one thing -- there is a vast difference between a predator who snatches an innocent chlld from a playgrond vis-a-vis a consensual relationship between partners of any age.

of course sexual predators doesn't exist at all. all those little 12 years old just asking for it and consensual relationships are possible with partners of any age.

my guess, if you make finally the news, there will be no discussion allowed on TVforum albeit there is not a big difference.

That article had some quality rants about blaming women for having sex with minors in this "modern" age:

    ...

    teenage male...with 10-inch penises and

    ...

He's always described as "big size for his age".

it's his age. 13. a 13 years old kid. and with 13 he is still a kid, despite your and others phantasies about his penis size.

pedo defence tactic and pedo phantasies. seems to be common, thats why there is a law. adults should not have sex with kids, childhood and youth needs protection. and these laws are quite modern. we don't need a 'sexual revolution' here.

  18. Today I contacted Royal Thai Consulate General - Melbourne to ask how to apply for the Tourist Visas.

They said there is still no decision about the waived visa fees and I need to pay AUD$45 per person for the application.

I have replied back to their email with the link found earlier in this thread:

so the authorities in bangkok didn't inform the offices abroad yet.

let us know when and what you got as an answer.

apart from that one possibile outcome could be, that you will have to wait a little bit longer until you get your passport back. specially if you are on your visa trip from thailand to cambodia or malaysia, you maybe have to wait now 2-3 days for your visa instead of only one night. any bets on that?

  19. You bring up a question I have been wondering about. If your passport is being held by your embassy for whatever reason (typically waiting for a new passport) how can you rent a hotel room?

or any other embassy, like in the case you applying for an albanian visa and you have to left your passport at the albanian embassy for a couple of days.

take out and keep the TM 6 immigration card. show it at the hotel registration desk. that should work.

  20. Oct 7 protest victim's clothing shows explosive chemical traces

BANGKOK, Feb 25 (TNA) - Traces of explosive chemicals were found on the clothes of a 28-year-old female protester who died in Bangkok’s street clashes last October 7 when police fired teargas into the crowd of protesters demanding the then government of Somchai Wongsawat to resign, according to two senior police officers assigned to investigate the cause of her death.

The two officers -- a forensic specialist and an explosives expert -- told a press conference that expert police investigators found chemical traces of a C4 bomb on the brassiere and T-shirt worn by Angkhana Radappanyawut, and that chemical substances used for making teargas was found only on her trousers, which they said could not have led to her death.

Both Miss Angkhana and a retired police officer died on that day, when nearly 500 people were wounded after police tried to contain the protest against the previous government outside Parliament.

Stressing that forensic experts had used innovative equipment, the two police officers ruled that Miss Angkhana did not die because of the teargas fired by police personnel, but they could not identify the cause of death.

They said the other fatality was a retired police officer identified as Pol. Lt-Col. Methee Chartmontri, a staunch supporter of the protesters, who coordinated security for the PAD.

Col. Methee died while sitting in his jeep after an explosion that experts said included chemical substances used for making a teargas but not C4 components on his body. (TNA)

  21. There's an opinion piece in today's Bangkok Post, very critical of PAD and Abhisit's handling of prosecution, but even there the author couldn't avoid mentioning that the police has no idea what to charge PAD with for airport closure. Apparently they did nothing really criminal, didn't hold anyone hostage, didn't put guns to people's heads, didn't break into control room or anything.

All this "terrorism" was just a large group of people in a public area.

    >>>

i read anothor opinion piece in yesterdays Bangkok Post that sees the things different and goes like this:

Is the Abhisit Vejjajiva administration really serious about preventing the airports from being seized again, as the prime minister himself strongly pledged to the world recently?

Probably not - if one looks at how the authorities are pursuing charges against leaders of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) for their siege of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports during Nov 25-Dec 4 last year. Investigations into the case have been painfully slow, as police remain confused, intentionally or not, as to what charges they would press against the PAD leaders, despite the abundant evidence.

The draft bill on anti-airport seizure which was recently approved by the Cabinet appears to be more proof of the lack of any serious intention to keep airports off-limits to political rallies.

The draft contains a ridiculously light penalty for any attempt to seize Suvarnabhumi Airport, the heart and soul of Thailand's air transport hub around which much of the Thai economy is built. It is highly offending that the proposed punishment for a crime that causes the national economy a massive heart attack and ruins the country's international image carries a measly fine of between 500 and 10,000 baht!

Why on earth is serious criminal punishment conspicuously absent from the draft?

    ...

One question springs to mind: Is the anti-airport seizure draft bill and action plan needed in the first place?

There exists a penal code (sections 135/1 and 132/2 amended in 2003) which classifies the seizure of airports as an act of terrorism, a crime subject to a fine of between 60,000 and 1 million baht, as well as the death penalty.

The penalty is harsh enough to deter any more crime - but only if the authorities enforce the rule of law.

    ...

The Abhisit government needs to do a better job to convince us that it is dead serious about preventing history from repeating itself, and must indiscriminately allow existing laws to take their course.

Thailand has paid dearly for the PAD's senseless and embarrassing action: 210 billion baht in losses and causing the country's GDP to contract for the first time in nearly a decade in the fourth quarter to minus 4.3% year-on-year.

    , Boonsong Kositchotethana, Published: 25/02/2009

according to this commentator there is a lot of evidence, a clear penal code that call the seizure of airport terrorism, to be punished with fine up to Baht 1 mill. and maybe even death penalty. but the investigation is slow, the authoritities are lacking of action.

instead there is a new useless and toothless draft bill according airport seizeres with only a max. 10000 baht fine. the author clearly favours the allready existing law and demands from abhisit that he puts it on course.
